August:
A rather wet start to August🤣

Lots of rain and very few lessons at the beginning of the month🫣 so lots of eager riders and catch up lessons for the rest of the month!😍
We also welcomed the very handsome, Saint, to the Inika family.

July:
A month of competing!😅😍

Starting the month with a lovely trip to the awesome EquineLib for some jumping in prep for the eventing. Followed by GRC July eventing where all our horses and riders performed fantastically!🔥 Happy, healthy horses competing in minimal tack🥰 Congratulations to all of our riders!
We took some awesome outrides with awesome people! Such wonderful hacking with breathtaking views⛰️
To end the month we were at Roberg for 2 days of their bubbly series! Well done to everyone!

June:
🐎❄️🦄

What a wonderful month with all our horses and ponies! A busy time this month having lots of horses schooled and worked☺️ time to get ready for the eventing!
Some riders attending the Paul Hart clinic at George Riding Club 😍🦄 our horses were super stars and their riders too, great exposure for everyone and the horses love to get out and about!
And lovely results for some of our other riders and ponies at the Déjà vu training show, well done girls!🤩

May: 🌨️🏔️

Wow! Jumping straight into the beginning of May with the most intense storm!😅 Horses were moved into smaller and safer sections of the track and monitored closely during the storm, we are so privileged to have awesome staff and managers keeping rugs frequently swapped and extra hay constantly being fed🙈

On a warmer (and drier) note, we had an awesome time with 7 of our horses attending the utility/ extreme trail ride at Homefield farm. 🤠And Tatiyana Wilson managed to shoot some stunning photos on the 1 hot day we had😍 lastly we got to clipping off those woolly winter coats on some of the sport horses!

Inika means "little earth" and we thought it fitting for our horses little oasis situated on a beautiful patch of green, just outside of Knysna.

Inika stables offers:
•24hour on-site management.

•A fully fenced 40×60 grass arena with jump uprights and poles - often split down the middle for 20x60 dressage arena with letters.

Inika stables is a mother/daughter run yard where we offer a natural, safe and herd environment livery that stems from the idea of a paddock paradise track system, this allows our horses to constantly be roaming a wide track that adds up to over 2 hectares of pasture and around 1 kilometre in distance - encouraging healthy movement for the mind and body. On the track the horses have access to a dam, a safe, well maintained forest area, hills, grazing and friends, allowing them a natural way of healthy living and a wonderful social environment.

Our horses come into well crafted "feeding stations" morning and night to allow them their supplements and concentrates without being harassed by herd mates. Before they are let out after eating, they are checked for any injuries or illness and treated accordingly. There is 24 hour access to a clean, fresh water trough.

💸We charge a base livery rate and feed is billed separately depending on what and how much your horse eats.

April🐥🩵

Well winter is certainly on its way🤣 All of our horses and ponies have started growing in their dark winter coats! Time to haul out the rugs and review feed schedules in prep for the cooler months☺️
A quieter month at Inika this month, but successful nonetheless. Happy, healthy ponies in their lessons and lots of new faces around the yard leasing🥰

A rather delayed update and start to the year here on Inika’s page but only due to positives!🤭

A very busy couple of months with upgrades happening around the yard and lots of horses and ponies needing work, being leased out and a full lesson roster😍
Some of our students started the season off with a bang and placed first, second and third in all of their classes at Misty Morn! So proud of you girls, and your wonderful ponies🤩🌟
We also levelled our arena as best we could a re planted so we have nice soft going for our special 4 legged friends☺️

Wow, what an exceptional month!

October was rather busy again, but things are likely to quiet down a bit towards year end now… We attended the amazing WC Eventing Championships - very exciting!
We welcomed two new lovely liverys!
We said goodbye to Cody as he goes off for backing in his new home!
We even welcomed a handful of new members to our ever growing riding school.

September:
Spring is here!🌻

A warm welcome to Firefly, another pretty addition at Inika🦋
We’ve been working hard here with some new installations and we now have some fun low level XC jumps around the farm as well as a third track system for more horse👀
Lots of awesome lessons in the school this month and fun times with special ponies❤️
And a handful of shows too!

Romeo is looking for a full lease, he needs a gutsy, competent rider and is not for a beginner. He schools smartly on the flat, soft in the hand and leg yields. He lives out, barefoot and is a good, low maintenance doer.
He absolutely loves to hack and has endless amounts of personality, he knows a few tricks and enjoys ground stimulation.
He’s often ridden in just a neck rope and seeks a strong bond with his rider. He is a more forward , spunky ride so needs a rider who is confident.
