It is with immense pride that we celebrate an extraordinary achievement by our incredible U10 coach, Alli Gray who was awarded both the South Australian Cricket Association Community Coach of the Year and the Cricket Australia National Community Coach of the Year.
Thatโs right, Alli is the national recipient. An unbelievable honour, and one that reflects the impact she has had within our club and our junior program.
The announcement was a complete surprise to Alli, with only President Tyson Roling and Cricket Director Marto aware of what was to unfold. With the South Australian Cricket Association attending our junior presentation to deliver the news in person, the moment quickly became something truly special, as Alli was surrounded by a wave of support, appreciation, and genuine love from every corner of our club.
Nominated by our Cricket Director, Marto, Alli was recognised not just for her organisation and commitment, but for her unwavering dedication to creating a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every single child in our U10 program.
What makes this achievement even more powerful is how it all began. Alli stepped up at the last minute when the club needed someone and what followed was nothing short of remarkable. She didnโt just fill a role; she transformed it. In doing so, she has challenged the traditional perception of junior coaching and shown that the pathway doesnโt need to be rigid or defined by gender or experience.
Alli has paved the way for more mums , or anyone willing to step forward outside of the traditional junior coaching mould, to see that with commitment, structure, respect, and care, you can have a profound and lasting impact on young players, the kind of impact every parent hopes their child experiences.
Congratulations Alli, you are the embodiment of everything our club stands for. This is a truly deserved honour and a reflection of the way you consistently put others first, lead with kindness, and bring out the very best in everyone through positivity.

The club is taking applications for the annual appointments of the Cricket Director and Junior Coordinator.
Applications will close on Friday 17th April. All expressions of interest and applications can be submitted to [email protected].
As per the club's Constitution, "the Executive Committee may appoint up to two (2) Appointed Committee Members, at their sole discretion." The Cricket Director and the Junior Coordinator are those two appointed roles we are recruiting for.

Congratulations to Brayden Feutrill and Shane Martin who both received some individual accolades at the Adelaide Turf Cricket Association - ATCA Awards Night.
Brayden had an outstanding season behind the stumps and claimed the N.W Keen Trophy for best wicket-keeper in A1. Congratulations, Dos ๐ฅ
Shane Martin claimed the B3 Association Bowling Trophy with 33 wickets. Marto had a stellar season with the ball and was a key contributor in the B3's making their first finals appearance in several seasons. Congratulations, Marto ๐ฅ

Head down to the club in your black and gold and cheer on the ladies as they look to make it 2 Premierships in 3 years!
Last time Para Hills and Reynella met in the Grand Final we claimed victory by 7 wickets. Serena Slade (sponsored by Your Local Greenthumbz) was the pick of the bowlers with 3 big wickets! In the run chase Tamara Clapton made an unbeaten 41, chasing the total down with 5 overs to spare.
This season both sides have met three times, which saw Para Hills win by 8 wickets in each of those contests. We know finals are a different challenge and we know our ladies are up for the fight in front of the Para Hills faithful!
Come down from 1pm to Triton Plumbing and Gas Oval (Para Hills Oval) and show your support.

A massive weekend in store with senior finals kicking off! Our C and D Grade are making their first finals appearance in many years and are up for the fight! Good luck to Greeny and Toby as they lead their respective sides!
The women headline Super Sunday at the club as they take on Reynella in the Grand Final at Triton Plumbing and Gas Oval. Right alongside them, our U16s look to defend 169 against Glenunga in week 2 of their Grand Final.
Our U15s have also made the Grand Final and will travel to Reynella as they look to claim the Premiership after a great season!

The Para Hills Cricket Club is now recruiting for the position of Senior Menโs Head Coach for the upcoming season.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a proud and successful club in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. The successful applicant will oversee the training, development and on-field performance of our four Senior Menโs teams, working closely with players and club leadership to drive continued success.
With state-of-the-art training facilities constructed in 2024, including three full turf training nets and three synthetic nets, the role provides access to high-quality resources to deliver and develop the clubโs senior cricket program.
