Absolutely stunning French, 18th century, Louis XV cartel clock with bracket. Gorgeous ormolu boulle work on a blue tortoiseshell case, and a brass and porcelain dial that arrests attention.
The movement has a verge escapement and silk suspension, common in clocks of this era. c. 1760
