It's been some time I apologize, but given that 2022 is almost over...how has your journeys been? Mine have been steady, crazy at times, very difficult moments but managing nonetheless. I'm weighing in around 196-198 but not in the 200s anymore. Size has increased for sure which comes with the fluff but overall satisfied with how progress has come. Finally even measured my arms, size about 18.3 inches so I can't wear mediums size shirts 😅 but keeping it balanced and not so one sided.

Alright lets be open about this!!! Biggest weapon I utilized when I first started my journey was..keeping my own ass in check! Held myself accountable! I wrote everything I did from foods, drinks and workouts along with how my mindset was like each day. But who here really keeps an honest eye on themselves? "It's too much, I forget too much, it's obsessive!" Etc. We don't track when we are fully aware of our negative or counter productive actions. But we sure in the hell will track the scale or lack of results!! So if you really wanted to make a change in your journey here is a good form to use, THEN THE NEXT STEP, grab a calendar 📅 each day you know you messed up, mark an X on that date and document how you feel you messed up that day...then at the end of the month, if you look at that calendar and see more X's then ✔️ marks..don't look at it as failing that month, understand that your up coming month needs to have less X's then before.. that is how we adjust. We can't blame other people or events, you make those choices. So the better we keep ourselves in line the better the results! If you want my help I'm always here to help, if not, then use these tools and info to help get you where you want to be. Remember its not about perfection but progression!! If you keep a journal or don't..share why!!

The mentality around "no excuses" in the fitness realm is over used and overrated. I believe it's ok to have an excuse, we all deal with things mentally, emotionally and physically daily that others don't or won't understand nor some will never walk in the same pair of shoes as you. I'm a person who is stubborn and strong and when pushed, I get s**t done no matter what! But that's not always a good thing. The fitness folks who push "no excuses" talk need to shush it...If you are on a budget, it's ok to not buy all the supplements they push. If you work multiple jobs and drained, it's ok to not have to train 14 times a week like they do since they don't have your responsibilities. It's ok to not live out of a Tupperware and eat something a little off plan. Sometimes you lost some time making breakfast for the kids that you forgot your prepped meals. When you hear "no excuses" and fail, you're more harder on yourself, you feel like a failure and that is not true...what do I say? As long as your heart beats, you never quit..its ok to slow down, its ok to stop for awhile but we never quit! Next time someone tells you that, ask them why? I can always have an excuse to not do something, I personally push myself pretty hard and the sad part about that is...that could do more harm than good if I'm not careful. That's the honest truth! So push yourself, but do it for the right reasons that fit your lifestyle! Sorry for the long post 😅 but let me know do you agree or disagree?

Keep it simple! Whatever the goal it's boils down to actually paying attention and adjusting each week. I recommend keeping a daily journal to help track what you consume and activities done..then if the week goes by and no progress, adjustments will be made then move forward to the next week. Because lets be honest, when you go off the plan you don't want to know...its those times that should really be documented so you can see how much damage or non damage that happened.
