Ivar started making backpacks now that his material is ready to use after soaking for about a week!

✨️ Archeon Viking Week! ✨️
Thank you EMR Events for having us!

It has been an amazing week full of friendship and love!
We had a blast as always with our neighbors The Bloodaxes of Cweorth and saw many more friends again!

Ivar made 7 baskets and is taking orders to make backpacks!
He also got a prize for 'most believable death' on Sunday during the arena fight! 😁

Scott got to sell his handmade weapons and tools, got new goodies and enjoyed strolling around Archeon and talking with friends. He also went fighting in the arena together with Ivar. 💪

Ann tried out different things like first time doing embroidery! She also cooked the most delicious meals, and ofcourse got to tell al lot of people about making fish leather! 🐟

Hadie finished the embroidery on a one-sided flag, and made some small things.
Besides that, she took new commissions for banners and flags, which will keep her busy all autumn and winter! 😍

Thank you to everyone who joined, who visited and came by for talks and drinks!

Next up: Bow making weekend, also at Archeon, in 3 weeks! 🥳

🦌 ARCHEON! 🦌
We arrived late last night after breaking up camp in Kontich and set up camp just before dark. All were tired, but happy we're here! 🤩

We had an awesome first day, reuniting with The Bloodaxes of Cweorth as neighbors, roaming around and enjoying the weather!

Ivar made 2 baskets already and is making more orders in the next few days!

More friends are arriving later this week, and we're already looking forward to the BBQ on Saturday! 😁🥳

(I also promise to take more pictures, but during the day I like to forget my phone exists) 🙃

Tis hier nu al gezellig op Condacum vivit Kontich ! ✨️
Morgen Scott er nog bij en dan zijn we compleet!

Komt langs, we zijn met zn allen met bijna 300 reënactors neer gestreken in het zonnige Kontich! 🥳 elke groep ontvangt je met plezier op hun plekje!
Nog tot en met zondag!

⚔️ Vikingeborgen Trelleborg ⚔️
Ivar and Scott went to Trelleborg in July to represent Skogfolk!
They became close to the Icelanders and faught together in battle and they didn't loose a single one! 💪

Besides that, Scott was blown away by the merchants and their materials!
Every merchant was questioned and new ideas are brooding in his head! ⚒️

They also brought home so VERY nice skins, which will be used for clothes and other stuff!

A very good 10 days for both of them!
Next year we hope to do Trelleborg and Sletten! 🥳

🦌 Teylingen 🦌
We had an awesome long weekend at Teylingen! The weather was all over the place, but everyone and everything made it! 😄

We grouped together with Bloodaxe Sibbe for meals and evenings by the fire.
Thank you for the food and friendship, and thank you Jari for the stories! 🔥

Ivar made stew for the lot of us, about 13 people, so we used 2 pots! It was delicious! 🍲

Scott sold some of his hand made gear, and talked with our neighbors about crafting in the Viking Age. ⚒️

Hadie worked on a flag for another Viking group, and is almost halfway! 🧵🪡
She also bought materials to try out weaving... 👀

Next up: Doornenburg, first weekend of July!

✨️ Archeon! ✨️ - pictures
We had a wonderful time at Archeon!

Our fighters had a blast during the fights, and Ivar even won the 'Bloodaxe Battle' 💪 He won all the pearls of the other fighters, and is champion of 2025.

Scott was always busy as usual! Sold some handmade gear and trinkets, and crafted during the weekend.

Kevin's girlfriend Eli joined us this weekend, she worked on her dress and took a lot of video's and pictures for us as well! (Thank you!!) ✨️

Hadie made cupcovers for several Viking friends, her fingers still hurt! 😄

We had a lot of fun and it was a pleasure seeing everyone again!
