I hope you guys are ready for the upcoming season...
So Pre & during season you need to focus on increase/maintain power...
So tempo training is the safest way to work on power pre/during season...
Plyometrics/jumps can be tricky in-season...
A simple 3 second eccentric (down) 1 second concentric(up) can work wonders if done correctly...
You can apply it in every workout... So train smart, keep working hard and I'll keep posting info to help you guys... Cheers

Sometimes you can miss very small areas that can be very important in Pace generation... our friend has an almost perfect action and I'm pretty sure he is bowling quite well... But this small correction can help him increase tha pace...
Some Flexors strengthening and Glute Work can help the cause.
Step ups, Lunges, hip thrusters and deadlifts are some example of exercises that can bhi done at explosive pace to improve...

.kohli Sots press hits the media and many of you guys are wondering what is this and how it'll benifit you...
So usually crossfit and weightlifting athletes use this exercise to improve their sn**ch and overhead stability... It hits your shoulders, quads glutes core... it improves the overall functionality...
Plus you see playing those awkward pull shots... The reason he generates so much power in such positions is reflection of his training... He trains in such difficult and different positions that he's literally ready for anything on field...

Shoulder injuries can happen anytime anywhere but you must prepare and train yourself to prevent those injuries...
These resistance band exercises are my favorite... And these exercises are really helpful in strengthening those Scapular muscles which provides the required stability to the shoulder joints...
You can add these variations in your workout prep or match prep ( just after wram up).

Spin bowling is really an amazing art... You can do so many things as a spinner... We have our friend here... Beautiful action, great release and good jump... but a slightly excessive hip rotation in the follow through...
The trunk rotational strength is required even to control the excessive hip rotation, to give you better control and keep safe... So as a cricket or any sportsman... This is a very important aspect to work on... Keep sending me videos guys and I'll keep sharing the information... Cheers...

So here we have a video of our friend . Great hand eye coordination... Timing the ball beautifully... But where all the other batsmen can relate is... Stability and balance, plus a flexed front knee while hitting the front foot shots... So any batsman who has the same kind of problem can work on these things... Follow through is the very important for any fast bowler because it gives you the confidence to generate more power in your last stride plus it keeps you safe from many injuries... That's why we must train for it with some dynamic balance training drills...
These two bound and stick drills are very helpful to start with and I'll be posting more information and exercise about the same...

Its very important for us to understand what is the best running and landing technique...
In cricket or general scenarios, no one really educate us about he right running technique...
Your foot should land right under your hip... You must try to avoid the heel strike... Land on the forefoot/ball of the foot and many more...
These little things are very important if you want to increase your running endurance, speed and if you want to keep yourself injury free...
So next time when you go for a long run or during plyometric training, keep this in mind... It'll take time to adapt... But it's worth investing time...
