Shoutout to some courts warriors who battled through 3 games with only 6 players at WV State on Saturday. Thanks to Coach Marshall at WVSU for having us down!

We had a great week at camp. Campers learned terminology, skills, drills, competed and learned how to be great teammates! Thank you to Mrs. Ginger Mullins for helping with registration and Mrs. Kristin Reed for everything behind the scenes. A big shout out goes to our players/counselors for the week. Numerous piggy back rides, high fives and relationships were built with future Vikings. Thank you to Coach Derek Mullins, Coach Jamison Hunt, Coach Scott Ullom for their dedication and hard work for our youth. Thank you to Xavier Boyce with camp pics. We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Ripley Elementary Admin Mr. Hicks and Mrs. Starcher allowing us to use their facilities. We’ll be back in the main gym next year at camp. Thanks to everyone for being patient as new bleachers are being installed in the main gym. Go Vikes!!!

Congrats to former Ripley High School Head Boys Coach on his new role as Assistant Coach for the Youngstown State Men’s Basketball team. Extremely proud of him! Special memories coming to both Ethan and Evan Faulkner as they make dreams come true coaching together at the Division I level! The two brothers played together for Elliot County High School and had a Hoosiers like career from the small town in Sandyhook, Kentucky! Best of luck to the Penguins and Faulkner brothers!!! Viking Nation is proud of you!!!

The WV team including Ripley’s senior Sophie Nichols beat the Ohio All-Star team in the BACF game last night at Parkersburg South. Sophie also won the 3 point contest. Congratulations to her!

Congratulations to Sophie Nichols 1st team All-State and Erin Ryan Honorable Mention All-State. Well deserved!!! Viking fans are extremely proud of you!!!

Thank you all Vikings fans for supporting us this year! No team faced a tougher schedule in the state than your girls. They were challenged and tested every night out! We played, beat, and competed with the best in the State. Sure, the outcome isn’t what we all had hoped for but this senior class has given us a lifetime of accomplishments and memories! Our senior class has been apart of a sectional championship, regional championship and the State Tournament! These girls were game changers and program changers! They will forever be remembered and their legacy will live on with future generations of Lady Vikings. The banners on the wall speak for themselves and the legacy they leave behind.
