We are beyond excited to introduce our newest coach to Timpview cheer!
Here’s a little bit about .salvesen

I grew up in southern California and cheered for Hart High School. We placed 1st at USA Nationals as a freshman team at the JV intermediate level and then took home 1st place again my senior year in the large varsity intermediate category.

I moved to Utah for college where I met my husband. We lived in Provo for a few years before moving across the country to Miami. After deciding Miami was not the place to raise a family, we made our way back to Utah!

I have 6 years worth of coaching experience. 1 year at Payson High and 5 years at Provo High.

I am so excited to officially be a part of the Timpview community!

We loved cheering on .football to a huge win last week against skyridge with all our fellow tbirds!! We need everyone to show up tomorrow, Friday August 23, at 7:00 to help our #2 Tbirds beat #5 Lone Peak!! SHOW UP, BE LOUD, WEAR BLUE!!

Our group stunt girls ended up taking
home a 6th place out of 33 groups!
We wish we could have done a little better on the rest of our routines. But, everytime we take the mat we always learn something to keep us centered.
We made memories that will last a life time. 💙🧡

Can’t wait to see all our mini cheerleaders tonight!! If you are coming, remember to meet in the south gym! You can enter through the main school doors, or south gym door by the football field! Wear something you can move in, and athletic shoes!!

Coach of the Year, Zoe Hale of Timpview. Zoe exemplifies hard work and dedication in making our Timpview Cheer program the best. She puts the safety of our athletes first and continues to show love and desire for coaching cheer.

It’s STATE week!! We had a great competition on Saturday! Qualifying 3 routines for state, and taking second in fight song!!! Can’t wait to take the mat this Friday for the first ever UHSAA State Cheerleading Competition!

WHAT A DAY!! Not only did we host the competition yesterday, but competed 4 routines!! And placed in the top 3 in all divisions!!

We fought back after some tough injuries this week, and still competed so well!! This is a perfect building point to send us into state season!!

Also thanks to all the teams that came and competed at Timpview! We loved spending the day with you! Utah cheer is AWESOME!! We love you all!!

Let’s talk JV for a minute. These girls have been working so hard while having the best attitudes. They are constantly performing new routines, while pushing themselves to hit skills they never thought they could hit. We sure do love our JV girls!

We just wrapped up an incredible football season!! We have loved cheering on this team, and are so so proud of the season they had! We will miss these Friday night lights and cheering on .football! 🧡💙🧡

DO YOU KNOW THE FIGHT SONG?? We love leading the fight song at assemblies, the end of sporting events, and many other times! But our favorite time to sing the fight song is after EVERY touchdown! We love coach Quincy! She is passionate about cheer and so motivated to help the girls hit their goals. She is the kind of coach that makes people want to be part of the team. Our JV squad is rocking it! We couldn’t be more grateful to have her!
