As Mamunul Islam officially hangs up his boots after a remarkable 21-year professional career, Bangladesh football says goodbye to a remarkable leader and a legendary midfielder.

Representing Bangladesh in 67 international matches and scoring 3 goals for the national team, he proudly wore the captain’s armband from 2013 to 2016.
