Ezra received some amazing news last week, proving that hard work, talent, dedication and a love for the game really do pay off—receiving his pre-contract offer from Manchester City! 💙⚽️✍️

Ezra attended the very first CLA session, so it has been incredible for our coaches to watch his confidence, ability and attitude towards training grow—whether that’s been during our Academy Team and Development Centre sessions, futsal, or Strength and Speed classes. 🩷🖤 Ezra always turned up 👊

It was brilliant to see over 150 children attending our Wednesday Development Centre sessions, followed by another fantastic turnout on Saturday. The CLA family continues to grow! 📈

⚽️ U6s – Brilliant energy from our youngest players! It’s great to see them enjoying their football and taking the first steps on their CLA journey. 🌟

⚽️ U7s – A fantastic evening competing at Stoke City during the week, where the players did brilliantly! That was followed by plenty of excellent games across the weekend as their seasons got underway. 👏🔥

⚽️ U8s & U9s – Lots of brilliant games both locally and in the MYSL, with a few exciting CLA derbies thrown into the mix! Plenty of quality football, competitive matches and players proudly representing the badge. 🩷🖤

⚽️ U10s – Some top displays across the board, with the teams showing great football, teamwork and development. The hard work on the training pitch is really starting to show! 💪

⚽️ U11s – Continuing their new challenge in the MYSL and embracing every opportunity to test themselves, learn and improve against strong opposition. 🚀
Another huge week lies ahead! Let’s keep working hard, supporting one another and creating unforgettable experiences for every child wearing the CLA badge. 🙌

🔥⚽️ IT FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK… CLA, CLA, CLA! ⚽️🔥

It was brilliant to see some of our teams begin their new season today after a few weeks off—and they returned with some top team performances! 👏🩷🖤
There’s plenty to build on and so much to be excited about. It’s going to be another brilliant season for our CLA players! 🚀

For the teams whose seasons haven’t started yet, we held some really competitive in-house friendlies to sharpen everyone up and get the players ready to go! 💪⚽️

We also had another fantastic turnout at our Saturday Development Centres, with lots of new players taking their first steps on their CLA journey! 🌟

A BIG week ahead with our full schedule returning, more teams beginning their seasons and plenty of opportunities for our players to develop, compete and enjoy their football! 🙌

🔥⚽️ ANOTHER BRILLIANT WEEK COMES TO AN END AT CLA! ⚽️🔥

First up was another fantastic CLA Football Camp! 🙌 Three action-packed days with 50+ children attending each day, enjoying plenty of football, fun and making new friends! A massive thank you to everyone who joined us and made it another camp to remember! 🩷🖤

Next, our U7s, U8s and U9s enjoyed another special academy experience at Stoke City Academy! 🔴⚪️ A brilliant opportunity for our players to train, compete and showcase their ability in a professional academy environment. Every player represented CLA superbly! 👏🔥

Our Development Centres also continued to grow, with fantastic numbers attending despite the weather! 🌧️⚽️ The commitment and enthusiasm from all our players has been incredible! 💪

And now the countdown is over… our brand-new 2026/27 schedule begins next week, alongside the start of the season for our Academy Teams! 🚀⚽️

Our U7s, U8s and U9s were invited to Stoke City Academy for a special training session at the Clayton Wood Training Ground last night! 🔴⚪️

Another BIG academy opportunity for our CLA players to train and showcase their abilities at a professional academy facility! 👊🔥

The standard was extremely high, and every child represented CLA brilliantly throughout. A fantastic experience and another amazing opportunity for all our players! 🩷🖤

Our U8s enjoyed a brilliant weekend, firstly taking on Stoke City Academy before heading over to The Cliff to face Manchester United! 🔴⚪️

Two fantastic experiences, with top performances from every player involved. The lads represented the CLA badge brilliantly 👏🏼🩷🖤

🏆 TOURNAMENT SUCCESS

Our U8s, U9s and U10s competed at Trafford Fives this weekend—and what a display it was! 🤩
It was amazing to see pink and black all over the pitches, with our teams producing some brilliant football and bringing home THREE trophies! 🏆🏆🏆

A huge well done to every player, coach and parent involved. Another weekend full of development, unforgettable experiences and success for the CLA family! 💪🏼🔥

A brilliant result for this very talented group of players. The effort, attitude and quality on show was fantastic from start to finish. 💪⚽️
