Our club rower Darius Okello recently took on the World Indoor Rowing Sprints Challenge, racing 1000m on the erg and delivering an outstanding performance!

With an impressive time of 3:14.5, Darius placed 4th out of 28 in the 19-29 Lightweight Men category and ranked 11th out of 571 overall in the Lightweight Men division!

This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the dedication and hard work Darius has put into his training in the Indoor Rowing discipline.

A Noble ending Her national rowing career can be said to have started in 2019 and ended in 2024 at the Paris Olympics where she bowed out with a national record. A short but impactful span!

Maroons Aqua Sports Club is beaming with pride courtesy of one our own, Kathleen Noble, OLY for her Paris 2024 Olympic Qualification. She finished 4th at the Africa Rowing Championships in Tunisia. Our club is thankful to the team around her that has enabled this victory. Congratulations!! Well done to Darius Okello, also a Maroons rower, who was inspired by Kathleen to start rowing after the Tokyo Olympics, this was his first major international competition in the 2K. Aluta Continua!
