After consultation with the NSWPA, we wish to advise of the cancellation of our 2023 carnival. We are disappointed that we are unable to run, but we'll make our next carnival our best yet!

We wish all the best to the remainder of the clubs & carnivals to run this year.

Thank you Bindi! 💛

Lest We Forget

Two if our Mossy members had the honour of riding in the ANZAC day memorials yesterday. Pete and Shaun (along with Mick and Grant) rode as the Light Horse as part of the Dawn Service at Tuross and the ANZAC day parade at Batemans Bay at 10.30am. Shaun has been doing this for a number of years, and this was Petes first year (hopefully of many)!

Well done boys, we are so proud of you!

Thank you Heather Nicholson for the photos of the guys. Hoping team photographer Bindi might have some more great snaps to share later!

It has been a big weekend for all of the Moss Vale crew this weekend, with members travelling around not only to polocrosse but a few new things too.

We had lone soldier Letitia representing us at Lake George Polocrosse Carnival this weekend. We are waiting to hear how the rest of the weekend fared but we hope Leticia had a great time!

A few members travelled to Gunning to compete in Mounted Games as well, a bit different from our normal playing field. Looking forward to hearing about how the weekend went for them!

Lastly, some of the crew spent the day today at Keira Pony Club with two of our littlest members for their first rally day, as well as having a bit of a chuck around with all the kids for an introduction to polocrosse lesson. Maybe a few future polocrosse superstars in the mix 🤔 thanks for having us!

Unfortunately we have had to make the call to cancel our rescheduled carnival due to ongoing wet weather.
We will see you all in 2023!

Moss Vale club finally had their first run for the 2022 season at Eurocoast Polocrosse Club Carnival held at Sunny Corner, Hall ACT, over the weekend. It was a few cold nights and a chilly windy Saturday, but Sunday turned out to be a beautiful sunny day! Best of all, there was no rain so we all stayed dry!

We had 5 Mossy players and were joined by the lovely Jess from Albury-Holbrook club to make up the team. The team were in the B Championship grade for the weekend, with points putting them about mid-field. We had a few new horses making their debuts, and it was great to be back on the field after nearly a year off (last carnival for us being Wagga in June last year).

We had some tough games Saturday against Lake George and Burradoo, coming out on top both times. For Sunday we had games against a second Lake George team as well as a Eurocoast/Mix-Up team. Going into our last game against Eurocoast/Mix-Up Team there were 3 teams with 3 wins a piece - Burradoo, Eurocoast and Us. It was a tough, hard fought game against the Eurocoast players, but in the last 2 chukkas Mossy made a break for it and came away on top! A great way to cap off our first carnival this year!

Thank you to Eurocoast Club for a great carnival, sponsors Ranvet and Wade Mathie Breaking & Training for the great prizes, and our club major sponsors Gladiator Horse Floats and Southern Highland Toyota for supporting our little club.

Next weekend is Yass Carnival, hope to see everyone there!

💚🤍💚🌧⛈🌧💚🤍💚

It is with much disappointment, that the Moss Vale Polocrosse Club has made the tough decision to postpone our carnival for this coming weekend.

The fields have been subjected to a significant amount of rainfall over the past week, with further severe rain and flash flooding predicted.

We have taken into consideration a range of factors, including player and horse welfare, future use of our magnificent fields and the entry/exit of the complex.

We will send out an announcement for our new date soon.

Sorry to all, we were very excited to welcome in the Polocrosse season. Stay safe and we'll see you all soon!
