I received a package yesterday!
I am so excited about taking part in this project with and many others.
I've had so many ideas rolling around in my head. Starting with a vintage little girl's dress - look at that hand smocking!
I've been thinking about my mom and her sisters and family photos of them lined up stairstep in their flour sack dresses. Most of that generation is gone but they live on in memories and so my idea is to incorporate images of the oldest "Laman girls" into this project.
It is sitting on the 40s-60s vintage Iowa map tablecloth that we always have on the table (where I spent the last thirty years.)

It's a fine day and we're off to the beach in Nairn.

It might have been a rest day for the riders but I started plying while we watched the highlights (recap and some interesting history).
It's a bit like a downhill ride. 😁
I'm spinning cotton this month. I with Recycled Blue jeans, a preparation I've had in my stash for a couple of decades.🙄 I have decided I like cotton on my Daedalus Sparrow.
