Turns out cowboys CAN move pretty fast when properly motivated. 😂💵

And we’ve got a little motivation waiting in Dillon.

🔥 OVER $10,000 ADDED — RANCH RODEO
🔥 OVER $1,500 ADDED — WOMEN’S TRIATHLON

That’s real money up for grabs thanks to a hell of a group of businesses and individual sponsors that stepped up and backed this thing.

Now there’s only one question:

Who’s coming to Dillon to take some of it home?

Some announcers know the names. This one knows the game. 🎙️

Zack Ekstrom is BACK behind the mic for the Dillon Ranch Rodeo.

He’s been on both sides of the arena — cowboy, competitor and announcer — and when things get fast, loud and a little western, Zack knows exactly how to call it.

We’re damn glad to have his voice back in Dillon.

Dillon Ranch Rodeo 🤠

Come for the cowboys. Stay for the show.

The arena might be where you see it happen.

But a ranch rodeo gets built long before a flag ever drops.

It takes cattle. Stock. Equipment. Added money. Volunteers. Long days. Phone calls. Favors. And a whole lot of people willing to say, “Yep. We’re in.”

That’s where these businesses come in.

They put their name and their money behind something that matters out here — local agriculture, working cowboys and cowgirls, and keeping a damn good Western tradition alive in Dillon, Montana.

Nobody puts on a ranch rodeo alone.

Good thing we’ve got one helluva crew behind this one.

THEY’RE ALL IN. 🤠

Some folks don’t need to be asked twice.

They see what needs done, step in, and get to work.

That’s ranch country.

And it’s exactly the kind of businesses we’re lucky enough to have backing the Dillon Ranch Rodeo.

They’re helping us put cowboys and cowgirls in the arena, keep local agriculture front and center, and give this community one helluva rodeo to come watch.

No sidelines. No halfway.

These folks are ALL IN.

And we’re damn proud to have them behind us.

🤠 THE DILLON RANCH RODEO — LOCAL’S GUIDE TO DOING IT RIGHT

1. Get your Fair wristband.
That’s your ticket in. There’s no additional admission to the Ranch Rodeo.

2. Come hungry.
Don’t eat dinner at home. Hit the fair food, grab something completely unreasonable and delicious, and make dinner part of the experience.

3. Grab a drink.
Beer, pop, whatever they’ve got available — get yourself situated before the action starts.

4. Find your people.
This is Dillon. Half the fun is running into everybody you know. Grab a spot with friends, neighbors, coworkers, cousins, somebody’s grandma, and probably three people you haven’t talked to since high school.

5. PICK A TEAM.
This is important. 😂
You do not need to know them.

Pick them because you know somebody. Pick them because you like their ranch name. Pick them because one cowboy has a sweet mustache.

Doesn’t matter.

You now have a team.

And suddenly watching gets about 400% more entertaining.

6. Learn just enough to be dangerous.
You don’t have to understand everything.

Basically:

🐂 Cowboys have a job to do.
⏱️ They need to do it fast.
🐎 Their horses better be broke.
💥 Things rarely go exactly according to plan.

If everybody in the stands suddenly starts yelling, YOU YELL TOO.

You’ll figure it out. 😂

7. Get invested.

This is where the night gets good.

By halfway through, the people who showed up saying “I don’t really know anything about ranch rodeo” should be yelling:

“COME ONNNNN! GET HIM! GET HIM! GET HIM!”

…at livestock they couldn’t identify 45 minutes earlier.

8. Stay until the end.

Because now you’ve got a team.

And if your completely arbitrarily selected cowboys win the thing?

Obviously, you helped.
