We came up against a very good Haverhill today.
J and M received players of the match, but all players contributed by giving 100%
But most of all they had fun playing football with their friends!

Cottenham U13 girls Vs Bottisham
Well, if you like a bit of drama you're following the right team. The girls were excellent today in horrible conditions. So hot and unforgiving. We could have scored 3 in the first half but were denied by the bar and the keeper. Then fell behind to a bit of a freak own goal on the second half. The girls rallied well and Lila was on the end of a Martha through ball to put us level. Maddie then scored last minute for the win!
Absolute thriller, but let's not leave it that late next time.

Excellent first game of the season today for the Purples. Played some really good football. Player of the Game to Paige for tremendous effort up and down the pitch from defence. Well done, girls.

What a night night for Cambridge United and for our U12 reds!
Tonight, our U12 boys red team had the opportunity to be ball boys for the Camb utd vs. Reading match at the Abbey Stadium that was shown on Sky sports!
