On Moses Sichone . I’m seriously beginning to think he deserves more time. When I look at the three games, it’s really only the one against Comoros where he appeared out of his depth. Against Mali, he delivered both a result and a performance to be proud of. The last game against a full strength Morocco, in front of their home fans, was always going to be a tall order. That match wasn’t truly lost last night. It was the result of years of neglect and poor football politics on our side, while others invested heavily. To pin that entirely on the coach feels rather harsh.
Instead, we should focus on the positives. He isn’t afraid to make big calls and clearly trusts young players, which is exactly what we need right now. Given a proper platform and the necessary support, I believe he can do much better.
That's a result that dims the light low for Zambia. And the performance that came with it was just as disappointing. What was the game plan? We didn't show any desire or intention of winning . And now we leave ourselves with so much to do because beating Morroco becomes a must following tonight's result.
Do you think we can do it?

So that is the starting XI from Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) .
For me this is the best possible XI we could have come up. Strong balance in terms of defense and attack , and a nailed on selection of individuals. Pleased to see Willard Mwanza , Diminic Pillar and Owen Tembo representing the Power Dynamos contingent . THOUGHTS?
A good practice match for Zambia ahead of the AFCON against a formidable side in CONGO DR. Thought the lads looked decent out there but ultimately fell short. It is also important to acknowledge the fact that majority of those players were playing together for the first time when assessing the result. But what did everyone make of that performance? Who impressed you and what do we need to work on?

KALULU MWIBALA.
I want to see how a double pivot of him and Miguel Chaiwa could work. Seriously think it gives us more control and the much needed protection of the back line at the same time.

RIVALRY REVERSED: FOXES READY TO RESURRECT AFTER A SETBACK AS CHIPOLOPOLO SEEKS TO PUSH THE SUPER EAGLES DOWN TO THE WIRE
It's still shocking how a 35-years withstanding record was finally broken by the spirited 10 men Zambia. But it's time to forget the bullet wounds and soldier on as Algerians are ready to exhibit an outstanding performance when they welcome the Copper Bullets of Zambia at Stade Mustapha Tchaker-Blida in Algeria on Tuesday night.
The Desert Foxes are ready to regain their pride following their 3-1 loss at the hands of Zambia at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Lucas Alcarez's charges upheld the missing of the services of Leceister City gem, Riyad Marhez. The same can be said about the Chipolopolo boys who were without the mid-field genius, Rainford Kalaba. Changes are expected from both camps as Algeria welcome back Riyad Mahrez while Zambia will have to play without suspended teen sensation Fashion Sakala. We leave the tactical for tomorrow but predictably; Wada will replace Fashion with Enerst 'Altezza' Mbewe to switch flanks with Augustine Mulenga and maintain the same formation with Patson Daka and Brian Mwila leading the attack. Another option is to move Chisamba Lungu to take up Fashion Sakala's place and leave room for 19 year old starlet Enock 'Computer' Mwepu.
The desert Foxes are desperately bottom of the table collecting a single point from 3 games played thus far. They won't accept anything other than a win while for the Chipolopolo to keep their World Cup hopes running, the outcome of this game has something big to say.
Here are a few weak points that we learned about the two teams;
Algeria
1. They failed to beat 10 men in 35 minutes following the referee's decision to send off Fashion Sakala for a clumsy tackle.Hence proving their Goal-scoring inefficiency
2. They used Zone-marking even in their own half, a method that was not ideal to diminish the creative of Zambian players.
3. Dead Wings
The Algerians did not take full advantage of their wings as there was little threat on goal coming from either wings.
4. There were perpetual communication break-downs among Zambian defenders but the visitors failed to utilise the hosts' errors.
5. Lack of Cohesion
Changing four different coaches in a short period of time explains how disorganized Algerian football has become and without doubt extends to their unity on the pitch. They were seen on several occasions failing to connect well with each other.
Zambia
1. Defense and Midfield Shambles
Somehow Zambia should feel lack that they only conceded one goal following their defensive lapses. Communication between Kennedy Mweene and his wall was so poor that they needlessly sent away the ball for set pieces in panic.
2. Failing to keep possession
The Chipolopolo were good at retaining possession of the ball yet poor at keeping it. Often times they missed the target whenever they floated a searching ball upfront.
Expectation!;
We expect a fast flowing and of course entertaining football. Buoyed by the return of Mahrez and home advantage, Algeria without doubt will be stronger than they were on Sunday at Heroes. This is a must win game for them and they'll do possibly anything to get that win. For Zambia football is never played on paper. The Psychology , attitude and character of the players will determine how they'll fair on the night. It remains to be seen how the Algerian defense will keep up with the fast pace of Chipolopolo wingers in Enerst Mbewe and Augustine Mulenga.
Prediction;
If Zambia was able to beat Algeria convincingly who enjoyed a numerical advantage for the larger part of the second half then I don't see any reason why they should lose in this encounter. They have all what it takes to come out victorious

Copper Bullets target Foxes🔫
Zambia will test their level of practice when they face the Desert Foxes of Algeria in the 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup qualifier match which is scheduled for the Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
Having already lost one game to Nigeria and drawn against Cameroon, Zambia will be eager to collect maximum points through Algeria to keep their World Cup qualifications hopes high.
Algeria stands out to be the relatives of success as they have participated in the FIFA World Cup four times (1982, 1986, 2010 and 2014) and having a record of being the first team to have scored four (4) goals in the senior World cup. This came to light when the Foxes beat South Korea 4-2 and qualified to the second round of 2014 prestigious tournament.
Meanwhile, the Chipolopolo boys go down in the history books as one of the best footballing nations which has never qualified to the FIFA global tournament. However, the Copper Bullets can boast of having three Africa Cup of National Final appearances (1974, 1994 and 2012) , one of which they won in Gabon. As of 10th August, 2017, Algeria are ranked 48th on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World ranking while Zambia is ranked 96th.
Aside from that, the Desert Foxes will uplift the individual brilliance of Nabil Bentaleb (Schalke 04) , Islam Slimani, Riyad Mahrez (Leceister City) , Yacine Brahimi (Porto FC), among others.
On the other hand, Wedson Nyirenda's side will uphold the presence of Chisamba Lungu (Alanyaspor-Turkey) , Fwayo Tembo (Lusaka Dynamos) , Patson Daka (FC Liefering) , Brian Mwila (Platinum Stars), Justin Shonga (Nkwazi), just to mention but a few. All in All, the power will be vested in the art of team work and discipline.

ZAMBEZI PORTLAND FORMS A FOOTBALL TEAM IN NDOLA
Zambezi Portland Cement Limited, whose cement built the Levy Mwanawasa stadium, has formed a football team to be based in Ndola which is expected to be registered with the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) next year.
And former Forest Rangers coach Willie Nkonde has been recruited to drill the team.
Company technical director Cladio Ventriglia said in Ndola that the team has been formed to expose skilled players in townships but their major aim is to make it formidable to fight for top flight honours.
“There is a lot of talent among the boys in townships and we will try to find that and help to expose them. We want to give the possibility to young boys about 16 years and nurture them into good players. We will make sure we find them and groom that talent,” Ventriglia said.
He also said Nkonde has been brought in to lay a foundation for a formidable side in future.
Ventriglia said Nkonde was picked because he is a proven coach of Super Division status.
Peter Fungamwango is assistant coach while Jolly Simukonda is team manager.
Zambezi which is Zambia's third biggest cement producer from neighboring Dangote and Larfage, is owned by the Italians. Italy is among the best footballing nation with passionate football fans.
