From 2PM–6PM, under that kind of heat, it’s fast rallies, heavy sweat, and somehow still choosing to play another game instead of going home.

Some races aren’t on the route map. They’re in the quiet distance between a mother and her kids, in every early mile and late-night call. She runs far, but never away, every step is stitched with love, sacrifice, and purpose. Distance may stretch the road, but it never thins a mother’s heart. 🏃♀️💖

Running humbles you first before it teaches you anything. Then recovery comes in and says, “sit down for a second, your legs are crying.” The older we get in this sport, the more we realize progress is not just about harder sessions and longer miles. It’s also about taking care of the body carrying us through all of it. 🏃♂️✨
