Superintendent Dr. Ricciardelli got an emotional special surprise today from former student, current CCPS employee, and Lely High Boys Basketball Coach Fritz Jacques. She first met Fritz as her student in her 8th grade classroom at Manatee Middle. Dr. Ricciardelli took him under her wing to ensure his success while he navigated some personal life challenges. After graduating Lely High, Fritz went on to play football at Kent State, but due to injury did not complete his post-secondary education. Today, years later, Fritz not only surprised Dr. Ricciardelli with the news that he had returned to school, but that he has graduated with a Science degree from Keiser University.
