This fanbase genuinely has zero common sense. 😭

Imagine your favorite player is playing his farewell match for the national team, a moment where you should be enjoying every last minute, celebrating his career, showing him love and respect—and somehow you choose to bring Cristiano Ronaldo banners just to mock him.

Like… if you genuinely don’t care about Cristiano Ronaldo, if you don’t consider him great, and if Messi is supposedly so far above him, why is Ronaldo still living rent-free in your heads during Messi’s farewell? 😂

Your favorite player is saying goodbye to international football, and instead of making the entire night about Messi, you’re putting Ronaldo’s name on a giant banner.

That tells me everything.

You had one final opportunity to simply enjoy your idol, celebrate his career and appreciate his last moments with Argentina. But apparently, the hatred for Ronaldo was more important than the love for Messi.

That is the funniest part.

Imagine being at your idol’s farewell match and still needing Cristiano Ronaldo to make the occasion interesting. 😭

If Ronaldo is supposedly irrelevant, finished, inferior, or someone you “don’t care about,” then why do you keep bringing him into everything?

You don't hate Ronaldo as much as you claim—you’re obsessed with him. 😂

This is beyond football rivalry at this point. The rent is clearly overdue. 🥶🐐

I always knew this was the case, but reading this still broke me. 😭😭

Thank you, Cristiano Ronaldo, for everything. I’m genuinely grateful that I’ve been able to support you all these years. You’ve always been more than just a footballer — a true leader, on and off the pitch.

And thank you for finally clarifying what really happened. You’re not just another player. You’re Cristiano Ronaldo — a once-in-a-generation footballer and, for me, the greatest of all time.

Respect, Boss. 🫡🐐

The moment Cristiano Ronaldo was stretchered off in the Euro 2016 final, I completely broke down.

My heart was shattered. I was literally in tears watching him being carried toward the dugout. At that moment, I didn’t understand how cruel football could be.

I was just a kid when I fell in love with this beautiful game. I remember watching Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United and falling in love with the way he played — his technique, his passion, his confidence, the way he respected and adored the game. He became one of the biggest reasons I fell in love with football.

And then I watched him carry Portugal through Euro 2016, all the way to the final.

I remember everything from that tournament. The goals, the celebrations, the passion, the way he fought for his country. And suddenly, in the biggest game of all, I saw him go down.

I genuinely thought it was over.

I thought, This is it. He's going to miss the moment he fought so hard to reach.

But Cristiano Ronaldo didn't stop.

He couldn't be on the pitch, so he took his fight to the touchline.

He was shouting. Screaming. Giving instructions. Telling his teammates to move the ball, attack, shoot, create chances and keep fighting. He was celebrating tackles and encouraging everyone around him.

It looked like he was trying to be on that pitch again — fighting alongside his teammates even though his body wouldn't let him.

He couldn't play, but he refused to stop leading.

And then came Éder.

When Éder scored that goal in extra time, I completely lost it. I was screaming at the screen like I was the one who scored it.

I'm not Portuguese. I'm not from Portugal.

But in that moment, it felt like my country had just won the final.

Because that's what Cristiano Ronaldo made me feel about football.

That night taught me something I'll never forget:

A true leader doesn't stop leading when he can't play. Sometimes, the greatest contribution is making everyone else believe they can finish the job.

Ronaldo couldn't finish the match on the pitch.

So he helped Portugal finish it from the sideline.

And when he finally lifted that trophy as captain, through all those tears and pain, it became one of the most beautiful moments I've ever witnessed in football.

That night, I didn't just see a footballer.

I saw what it means to love the game. ❤️‍🩹🐐🏆

🚨🔙 When Barcelona fans booed and hurled abuses at Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo during a minute of silence for Johan Cruyff.

Even the Cruyff family was reportedly left in disbelief.

And José Mourinho once said:

“It's not a dream for Barcelona, it's an obsession. I know the club very well. They teach you how to hate Real Madrid. They hate Madrid more than they love Barça.”

S**t never ages, lmao. 💀

And honestly, we’re seeing the same mentality right now.

The same Argentina fans who have always hated Portugal, the same Messi fans who spent years attacking Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal, are suddenly supporting Portugal now that Cristiano has been left out of the campaign.

Not because they suddenly love Portugal. Not because they suddenly care about the Portuguese national team.

They just want to use Portugal to build another narrative against Cristiano Ronaldo.

Now every good thing Portugal does is being used to say, “See? Portugal is better without Ronaldo.” Every young player’s performance is being exaggerated just to push the idea that Ronaldo was holding the team back.

It’s the same obsession, just a different version.

They don’t suddenly love Portugal.

They just hate Cristiano Ronaldo enough to celebrate anything they think can be used against him.

And the funniest part? They think we don’t see what they’re doing. 😂

CNN Portugal are stating that the Relationship between Ronaldo and Jorge Jesus has completely Broken Down

Cristiano Ronaldo will NOT return to the Portugal national team while Jorge Jesus remains manager.

He has stopped believing and stopped trusting, after the Lies Jorge Jesus told in the Press Conferences after telling him a Completely different Story in Private.

I do fear that we've seen the end of Ronaldo with Portugal unfortunately. Portugal won't Sack Jorge after just Signing him and I don't see Ronaldo Returning for a "farewell" match Either.

Unless something extraordinary happens, Portugal vs Norway was the last International Game for Ronaldo

Jose Mourinho said it perfectly back in May 2024:

🚨🔙 José Mourinho on Cristiano Ronaldo:

|
| “Cristiano Ronaldo can NEVER be on the bench. When he retires, he | retires. When he doesn’t retire, he has to play.” 🐐🇵🇹

And honestly, those words hit differently now. When one of the most experienced coaches in football says this about Ronaldo, it says a lot. Ronaldo doesn’t need special treatment — his level and what he has given to Portugal demand respect.
