ancestors had a profound way of dealing with
P.T.S.D. It was believed that after war……when a man
had returned from war, before he could be
accepted back into society he had to live with a
shaman for 3 months to do some spiritual
cleansing. It was said that after war, the human
spirit was off balance and required to undergo
some rituals in order to restore it back in harmony
with nature and the community. A horn was used
to draw out stagnant and dysfunctional blood to
the surface. This is one of the rituals that was
performed on the warriors to cleanse them from
any mental illness and trauma that they might
experience later in life. This process was carried
out Africans long ago before it was deemed a
Chinese invention. It was called "African suction
cup" by the colonizers. This is just one of many
African practices appropriated by others without
giving us credit, per usual. But go ahead and keep
thinking otherwise.

Calorie restriction is a consistent pattern of reducing average daily caloric intake, while fasting regimens primarily focus on the frequency of eating. The fasting diet may or may not involve a restriction in the intake of calories during non-fasting times.
While researchers say their
benefits are basically equivalent,
I will differ in saying that
programs
your brain while dieting doesn’t
always do the job and doesn’t lock
in the process.
