It seems like just a few years ago I was a young mom playing with leslie and Paul... swimming, boating, tubing, and hanging out on Masonboro and Wrightsville Beach. Those were such fun times! It goes by fast so please slow down and soak it all in. Before you know it the time has passed and “rearing” your children is over.
But please know, being with your adult children is a blast!

And now, here I am so grateful to be creating similar memories with my granddaughter!

Maggie loved being in the water and loved going fast on the boat. She did a lot of “cruising” around the furniture and we pray she’ll walk in the near future.
We are thankful for the “steps” that she is taking in her development. I love how she sticks out her lip to show her emotions.
Through the laughter and tears, the games and conversations, I am so thankful for the memories created with family and friends.

After traveling 8200 miles, Jack and I are safely back home. Home Sweet home.❤️
I’m incredibly thankful for my sweet hubby for planning our wonderful journey through 24 states and to Banff, Canada. He also did about 95% of the driving. We brought back some amazing souvenirs- sweet sweet memories!❤️

How do you feel after accomplishing something tiring and hard? Today’s hike at Lake Louise was a three hour hike up steep rocky trails. We even crossed through some snow. And for someone who lives at sea level, this was a wonderful challenge. 20,013 fun and tiring steps

Thankful for the sights, smells, and for my hubby carrying the heavy back pack which included bear spray.
