The Ancient city of Messene donates its name to the International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament “Ancient Messene Open”, that is held in the captivating Messinia, Peloponnese. By the town of Kalamata and at the Buca Beach Resort, seven carpet tennis courts await the athletes from around the world, not only to compete and enjoy the pleasures of the game, but also their stay in a hospitable and historical place. The excellent weather conditions, the crystal clear waters and the Greek hospitality, constitute the guarantee for the successful conduct of the tournament and the hospitality of the athletes. La Messénie Ancienne offre son nom au tournoi international de tennis au fauteuil roulant ``ANCIENT MESSINI OPEN``. Il se déroulera dans le Péloponnèse mythique à la région magique de Messénie, à côté de Calamata. Cinq terrains de tennis de compétition de l’hôtel Buca Beach Resort qui se trouve au bord de la mer, attendent les sportifs du monde entier à participer et à j***r du jeu mais aussi du séjour à ce lieu historique et très hospitalier.
