We’d like to take a moment to give a huge shoutout to Laurence Lafreniere, our athletic therapist, for her outstanding support throughout the Mont Tremblant World Cup.
Laurence dedicated four long days to caring for our athletes, making sure everyone had the treatment, attention, and support they needed to compete at their best. Her commitment, professionalism, and calm presence behind the scenes played a huge role in keeping our group performing and feeling their best all weekend.
We’re extremely grateful to have her as part of our team — thank you, Laurence, for everything you do.

🏒 DAY 2 COMPLETE – PLAYOFFS ARE SET! 🏒
After two exciting days of competition at the 2026 WBDHF 3v3 World Cup in Mont-Tremblant, the round robin is officially in the books for the Women’s, Masters O35, and Legends Divisions!
🔥 Team North America Highlights:
▪️ Masters O35 North America II finishes 1st overall with a perfect 5-0 record and heads into the playoffs as the top seed.
▪️ Masters O35 North America I battles into the playoffs after a hard-fought round robin.
▪️ Legends North America II also finishes 1st overall, undefeated at 5-0, earning the top seed heading into elimination play.
▪️ Legends North America I secures a playoff spot after a strong finish to Day 2.
▪️ Women’s North America Black finishes tied in points for 3rd and enters the playoffs with momentum.
▪️ Women’s North America Red continues to battle and looks to make some noise in the playoff round.
The round robin is over. Records no longer matter. Every team starts fresh with one goal in mind—bringing home a World Cup championship. 🏆

🏒🔥 TEAM NORTH AMERICA – DAY 2 RECAP 🔥🏒
Another big day at the 2026 World Cup as our teams continued to battle, compete, and represent North America with pride!
🇺🇸 🇨🇦Women’s Black posted a strong 2-1 record, earning victories over Canada and USA before a hard-fought matchup against Québec I.
🇨🇦 Women’s Red finished 2-1, highlighted by an exciting shootout win over Canada and a convincing victory over USA.
⭐ Legends 1 - responded with a big win over Québec 3 to finish the day on a high note.
⭐ Legends 2 - remained undefeated with impressive wins over Slovakia and Czechia.
💪 Masters O35 1 - Faced a tough slate of opponents and showed tremendous heart throughout the day.
💪 Masters O35 2 - stayed red hot, going a perfect 3-0 and continuing to establish themselves as a team to watch.
🏒 Men’s Open 1 - battled through a challenging day and will be looking to make noise heading into tomorrow’s action.
🏒 Men’s Open 2 - earned two key victories, extending their strong tournament start.
Every team is contributing to the journey, and the work is far from finished.

🏒🔥 DAY 1 IN THE BOOKS FOR TEAM NORTH AMERICA! 🔥🏒
What a start to the 2026 WBDHF World Cup in Mont-Tremblant!
✅ Women’s Black – Earned a hard-fought split on the day, including a big win over North America Red.
✅ Women’s Red – Faced tough competition and continued building chemistry and momentum.
✅ Legends 1 – Finished Day 1 with a strong 2-1-0 record, scoring 15 goals.
✅ Legends 2 – A perfect 3-0-0 start, outscoring opponents 17-4.
✅ Masters 1 – Opened with wins over Canada (6-3) and Italy (9-4) before falling in a close battle to North America II, finishing the day 2-1-0.
✅ Masters 2 – Started the tournament 2-0-0, earning back-to-back victories.
✅ Men’s Open 1 – Battled through a challenging opening day and will be looking to bounce back stronger tomorrow.
✅ Men’s Open 2 – Dominated Day 1 with a perfect 3-0-0 record, outscoring opponents 21-5.
Across every division, Team North America showed heart, resilience, and pride. Some teams started hot, others faced adversity, but every player wore the crest with pride and represented our program the right way.

Truth be told, Kevin Clark didn’t want to be on this graphic. He’d much rather stay behind the scenes and let everyone else have the spotlight. But we felt it was important to recognize the person who makes so much of this possible.
As the Team North America Director, Kevin puts in countless hours coordinating rosters, working with tournament organizers, handling logistics, answering questions, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Much of what he does goes unseen, but it is absolutely essential.
Simply put, without Kevin Clark doing all the behind-the-scenes work required, Team North America would not be involved in these events.
Thank you, Kevin, for your dedication to growing the game and providing opportunities for so many players to compete on the international stage.
