Avoid Burnout and Increase Awareness Using Ultradian Rhythms

I'm sure we've all heard the term Cercadian Rhythm. But have you heard of Ultradian Rhythms? Best Buy's WellTalk this week shared some insights!

Ultradian rhythms are defined as rhythms that are shorter than 24 hours. These daytime rhythms are the inverse of the REM sleep-cycle rhythms that humans go through during the night, there is typically a roughly 90-minute period of rest followed by a 20-minute period of activity (REM).

Try for yourself!
-Get a journal
-Set a timer for 30 minutes
-Record your energy, focus and mood when the timer goes off
-Take a 5-minute break
-Record how your feel after the break
-Increase the time of each period until your energy, focus and mood ratings seem optimal for you

5 Ingredient Banana Pancakes + Baby-Led Weaning - Chicago Jogger

Here's a simple, tasty way to sneak veggies into yours and your kiddos breakfast! Recipe shared from a Midwest blogger, Chicago Jogger.

2 handfuls spinach
2 ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/2 cup white whole wheat flour (or oat flour works well too!)
2 tsp cinnamon

1. Add spinach, bananas, eggs, flour, and cinnamon to a food processor.
2. Process until you get a pancake batter consistency {approximately 1 minute}.
3. Add pancake batter to a skillet on medium-low heat {I used 1/4 cup of batter per pancake}. Flip when bubbles start to form.
4. The pancakes are done cooking when the top is lightly browned. This healthy breakfast recipe for 5 Ingredient Banana Pancakes will start your day with spinach, bananas and protein.
