Nobody builds a strong body by creating elaborate meals they found in a cookbook or from an Instagram influencer…

And while social media can often make you feel like your meals need to look a certain way and if it isn’t aesthetically plated or packed with 15 ingredients then you aren’t doing it right

But the pressure of overcomplicating things is usually what makes people quit… because from a coaches perspective, the more complicated something is, the harder it is to sustain

So, we want meals that are simple, repeatable, and easy to throw together after a long day at work and as someone who strength trains, I always wants to create an environment for my body to perform, which is why my day-to-day meals are really simple

I build them around a protein source, a carbohydrate base, and throw it together with salad or vegetables and a fat source and bobs your uncle 🤌🤌

The creativity comes from switching up simmer sauce flavours, playing with different herbs and spices, and making sure I’m incorporating social meals and date nights because food is definitely meant to be enjoyed as well, not just optimised

Simple food, done consistently, is the foundation of every result I’ve built and every result I’ve helped my clients build

If you want to learn how to fuel your body to build muscle without the unnecessary fat gain, comment BUILD below and I’ll send you my free PDF workbook which walks you through exactly how to do it

Your cycle doesn’t have to work against your training but it does require you to understand what your body is actually telling you

The women I work with learn to tune into their own patterns, make informed decisions about their training, and build the kind of consistency that actually lasts not because they push through everything, but because they know when to adjust and when to go for it

I’ve put together a simple PDF framework covering exactly how to assess your training around your cycle. DM me “CYCLE” and I’ll send it straight to you for FREE!

Building muscle as a woman comes with a fear that most of us have felt at some point and I still do. But the real question isn’t whether the fear exists, it’s where it came from in the first place

We’ve been fed this idea that getting stronger means getting too big or too bulky and that fear doesn’t just stay internal, it can quietly shape how you train, how hard you push, how much you eat, and whether you ever actually let yourself go after strength in the first place

So, ask yourself is the fear of getting “too big” genuinely yours? Or was it handed to you somewhere along the way, by a comment, a “body guide”, a gym culture that told you to stay small instead of grow?

Because if it’s holding you back from training harder, eating more, or actually building the body you want that’s worth paying attention to!

Drop a personal experience below and let’s create some change 🫶

For the last 5 years I have trained for a purpose, the competition, the numbers or the performance

But somewhere along the way I realised that I had lost my original WHY

Training for fun
Training to push my limits
Training for health, well-being and longevity

The gym had become a place where without a goal, I didn’t know who I was in there. Would I train hard enough? Would I push myself?

So, 18 weeks ago, I made a change

I let go of the belief that I needed a goal to justify showing up and I started showing up purely for what I was building and just to see what my body was capable of

My body has changed, my mindset has shifted and for the first time in a long time training isn’t being driven by a performance goal, I’m just showing up for me

If you’re someone who can’t train without a goal to justify it, I see you, because I was you and I want to show you what’s waiting on the other side of letting that go!

Follow along because this is just the beginning and it doesn’t mean I won’t be working towards goals in the future 😉🤝

Teresa said something during a previous check-in that is the reason why she has been able to maintain consistency over the last 5 months

“I’m not too phased on how fast the progression is, I’m just enjoying the process and understanding and learning about food and nutrition”

On almost every consultation, people come in wanting to achieve the specific result and whilst there is nothing wrong with this, it’s the realisation that in order to achieve the goal but also stay there requires a shift in our perspective

Teresa wasn’t fixated on the scale or strength numbers, she got genuinely curious about the process, about understanding nutrition and herself and building a relationship with food that felt sustainable

And that’s exactly what made her results inevitable

If this resonates with you and you’re ready to actually understand your nutrition rather than just follow it, I’d love to work with you. Click the link in my bio to book your call
