Harmony family- WE NEED YOU TO EMAIL! Part of our mission to love on these families is to advocate alongside them and support their needs!! Texas is trying to pass that parents have to be present when a home health nurse is with the child. This means parents can’t work or seek respite or run errands etc!! Please take the time to learn and send an email to help these families!

‼️UPDATE-This proposal is related to policy on babysitting and childcare- as if Private Duty Nursing is childcare and not Medically necessary

When email your comments- BE CAREFUL - keep it simple
“This adversity affects families with disabled children”
“This is discriminatory toward my disabled/medically fragile child”
“This is an attack on home health care”
“This will make it impossible for families to care for their disabled/medically fragile child”
“This is going to force families to institutionalize their diabled/medically fragile child”

DO NOT comment about caregivers not being able to work, or care for other children, being able to get out of the house - these comments will further continue this campaign against the disabled.

‼️ URGENT‼️What if caregivers were required to be present anytime their child’s private duty nurse was on the clock?

Congrats to our East Texas team for raising awareness this weekend at the Chandler Pow Wow! They also won BEST FLOAT!!! Way to go East Texas Harmony 💛🩵

Because of YOUR donations and support to Harmony- we were able to pass out over 600 scripture bracelets to our community. Let’s keep spreading Jesus’ light through dance & Harmony!
