Please remember that you should not be bringing your dog to the park if they are aggressive and and are not under your control. There was again an incident where a small dog was attacked by another dog causing an injury that requires expensive vet attention.
Friendly reminder we are currently collecting donations for Manitoba Underdogs Rescue Inc.! Every cent goes towards the rescue and care of dogs, deserving all the love we can give them!
If you would like to donate, please visit us in-store. We will be running this fundraiser until the end of May!

Don't forget to come out to our cleanup event tomorrow, Saturday from 11 AM to 3 PM. We need your assistance in picking up garbage, dog poo and shovelling wood chips and gravel. Please bring your shovels, rakes and wheel barrows. We have gloves and bags. If anyone has grocery bags please also bring them as we are very low on them.
Pet Valu will be on site with samples and a chance at a prize for those who help out. We also have a wonderful gourmet basket donated by Cindy Little, Realtor, a kid's prize, and a gift certificate for Ron Paul Nursery.
Free water, coffee and hot chocolate will be available. See you there!

Keys found at dog park. One is a single key left on top of garbage can at front. The other is a set of keys that probably spent the winter in the snow. Has Ford key fob. Both are now on hooks on Bulletin Board.

Sturgeon Athletic Field Off-Leash Dog Area St. James area residents identified an off-leash dog area as a desired feature for the community as part of the St. James Community Parks and Recreation Project. A new off-leash dog area is being proposed for the Sturgeon Road Athletic Field. Located north-west of the
FOUND! THANKS FOLKS! Park user Brittni has lost her set of car keys at the park. It contains a Chevy key, a pink colored key and others. It is her only set please call her if found at 204-999-7107.
The road was graded today so it is a little easier going. Park is drying up and paths are usable except along the East side as the river is still very high.
Don't forget our clean up day is this coming Saturday, May 7 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. In addition to cleaning up the park we will be spreading wood chips that the City will be dropping off. This should help with some of the muddy spots. Please bring your shovels, rakes and wheel barrows if you have one and help us out. If we all work together we can get this done quickly.
There will be free coffee, hot chocolate and water for those helping out.
Pet Valu will be in attendance with samples and they and Cindy Little, Realtor are supplying some lovely prize packages that you can enter to win. Hope to see you there.

If you have any ornaments left on the Christmas 🎄 memory tree please take them off, as we will be cleaning off the tree. Some members feel we may be confusing winter into staying! Anything worth keeping will be kept for next season. Thanks!
