🥋 Impact Rising Stars Test Match Series – Event #1 Recap

Yesterday we successfully launched the first Impact Taekwondo Rising Stars Test Match Series — and what a strong start it was.

This pilot event was designed to give athletes structured match experience in a realistic competition setting before stepping into larger tournaments.

We ran:
✔ 3 rings
✔ KPNP electronic scoring
✔ Live referees
✔ Full competition-style flow

But more importantly — we saw:

• Athletes learning to manage nerves
• Coaches guiding strategy between rounds
• Referees sharpening their craft
• Schools coming together to raise the level

This wasn’t about medals.
It was about preparation.
It was about growth.
It was about building stronger competitors and leaders.

We recorded every match so athletes can review, reflect, and improve — because development doesn’t stop when the match ends.

Thank you to everyone who supported this first event. This series will now run monthly as we continue building a stronger competition culture in our region.
