Today is International Bereaved Mother’s Day.
It is a mix of of emotions having this day be a part of my life. I miss my Amelia girl more than I can express! Thinking of you today sweet girl and thinking of all the mothers out there who have lost a child!

I never thought I’d have a transformation this like!
I look and feel different from the inside out. The first pic I was almost 140lbs, I didn’t work out or have a morning routine. My stomach issues were flaring up, I had a hard time physically moving or running, I just felt like I was just surviving at this point.
The second pic is me in March and I am down 11lbs and several inches. I’m confident, happier with life and physically and mentally feel better!
This program is not all about losing weight and eating healthier. It’s also about your mindset and diving into being the person you want to be mentally and physically.
This program has helped me yo stay disciplined to my goals. I am eating healthier which has helped my IBS and stomach flare ups. By moving my body daily I am sleeping better, I have more energy and less tension in my body. Most importantly, I wake up to have time for myself in the morning which helps me be present to myself and my goals.
If I can do this, so can you! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

You don’t need to lost weight to be happy and confident. This is more than that. I am eating healthier which helps me feel better and sleep better. I am moving my body daily which gives me energy and helps relieve tension in my body and also relieves stress. Most important I wake up to have time for myself in the morning which helps me be in the right mindset for the day with my journal and reading and this helps me stay present to myself and my goals.
If I can do this, so can you! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!

Do you ever wonder if you are a good parent?
I have those days and then something happens and I realize I am doing a pretty damn good job!
I didn’t grow up in a loving or supportive home. I actually had quite a traumatic childhood and I knew from an early age that I never wanted my children to experience anything like what I experienced. It’s hard to break cycles and patterns.
These two things have helped me the most. Looking at my story, learning from it and finding avenues to better myself whether that’s in the books I’m reading or what I’m listening to and the second is going to therapy. Our society seems to shun therapy and mental health when in reality I think we all could use therapy in our life!
Coming from a traumatic childhood, we learn to cope with life in ways that might not be healthy and it creates patterns that roll into our adult life. It comes out in how we interact with ourselves and in our relationships with others. However, it is our story and we need to live by our story and not be shameful of it.
As Aundi Kolber says, “Learning how to be “with” our stories - in our bodies, without becoming overwhelmed by or numbing our past experiences - is the way we will learn how to actually handle and move through grief and anxiety that come up. It’s also a way to we will learn to write new endings that are true to ourselves.”
We need to get back to being in tuned with our body.
It has a story to tell and can guide you in healing.
