Happy Mental Health Awareness Week 🤍
This week always feels particularly important to me.

Mental health affects every single one of us in some way, which is why creating spaces that feel safe, supportive and free from judgement matters so much. Open conversations, honesty and support can make such a difference — and this week is a reminder that looking after our wellbeing deserves real action, not just awareness.

So, I’m practising what I preach.

Lately, I’ve been feeling the effects of overwhelm, and I know I need to take a step back from social media for a little while — to reset, recharge and quieten some of the unnecessary noise and negativity.

I am forever hearing, ''I can't have this'' or ''I can't have that''.

NO.

To be truly in a life with food freedom means waving goodbye to restriction, guilt or ''earning'' what you want to eat - it's about trust.

Trusting your body
Trusting your hunger
Trusting that one slice of cake doesn’t undo your progress

When you allow all foods into your life, something powerful happens:
✨ The obsession fades
✨ The guilt disappears
✨ Balance becomes natural

Remember. Health (and wellbeing) is built on consistency, flexibility, and actually enjoying your life.

We hope you had the best bank holiday weekend filled with joy, love and making memories.

Brad starts his new job today after three months of sheer hell. This man’s resilience and strength inspires me everyday. Undoubtedly however, the ceasing of the sourdough hobby is welcomed and appreciated!

Brad reminds me to always trust. To trust one another, ourselves or even God. Because things will be OK. They may change, look different or be difficult for a while but they will absolutely always, be OK,

And that’s because I have him.

So many of us today are out here chasing perfection...without realising it doesn't actually exist.

As Jennifer Lawrence said so simply - and so truthfully - there is no such thing as 'perfection'.

Chasing it? Well that is just self torture. We exhaust ourselves trying to reach something that was never real to begin with.

So take a moment to pause. Refocus. Reframe. You are already enough, exactly as you are. Your best version isn't ''perfect'' = its YOU ✨

Hormones aren't an excuse; they’re an explanation. As women, we aren't meant to be static. We are a shifting landscape of phases and states, and honestly? That’s not a weakness—it’s a superpower once you learn how to read the map. BUT why are we fobbed off? Why are we not supported and guided through how to manage and navigate the change in our moods, behaviour and lives.
