Home from the 4th Made for KC BBQ Championship. Great event put on by OHM to select a team to represent KC BBQ at the airport. We had a good cook.

Pork - 37th
Brisket - 18th
Overall - 28th

Our Recteq cookers ran like champs like always.

Home from BBQ & Fly In on the River. Lyndsey and team put on a great contest, over 80 teams this year! It was a warm contest again, but all things considered the weather was pretty good and our Recteq coolers ran like champs. We had mixed results.

Chicken- 19th Smart Chicken
Ribs- 66th Prairie Fresh
Pork- 10th Prairie Fresh
Brisket- 73rd Snake River Farms
Dessert- 12th

Congrats to all of those who heard their names called. We are back at it next week at Made for KC in Weston.

Home and settled from Smoke Off "4-Life" BBQ Competition in KCK. We were looking for some redemption after our first contest of the year was underwhelming. Our Recteq smokers didn’t let us down as we rebounded.

Margarita- 2nd place
Sausage - 1st place (180) - Krizman's Sausage
Chicken - 3rd place - Smart Chicken
Ribs - 20th - Prairie Fresh
Pork - 3rd place - Prairie Fresh
Brisket - 20th - Snake River Farms
Dessert - 5th place
Overall - 10th (696.5260)

It was a great weekend and Joshua Markley and team did a great job as usual.
