My client lost 8 pounds in 8 weeks AND felt much better looking in the mirror and with her mindset around food 🔥

Here’s how she did it…

Where she started from:

My client said she wanted to lose fat and gain muscle/strength and overall feel better about herself. She felt weak from a super hard pregnancy and her back was always in pain. She also wanted to improve her mindset around food and felt uneasy about her negative thoughts towards carbs. She wanted to enjoy life without negative food associations and just feel better/strong.

What was missing? Education around building muscle/fat loss, sustainable mindset with nutrition, a PLAN, accountability, and support.

So many mamas want to reach their fitness goals and start feeling strong and good in their bodies but they don’t know where to start to get from Point A (feeling weak, tired, frustrated with body) to Point B (strong, in control of food, confident).

So they end up doing HIIT workouts they dread and eating keto.

Um no thanks. I want to be able to eat bread and not worry 🥐

Even though I was a “Certified personal trainer” I STRUGGLED for years with nutrition while trying to lose fat.

I went on different diets, tried to eat as clean as I could, eating cold plain chicken for lunch and nothing but lettuce in my green smoothies.

I would snack a ton at night when I had my baby because that felt good emotionally.

I would feel so GUILTY eating treats and pizza and would try SO HARD not to eat them. I thought something was wrong with me because I didn’t have enough willpower.

Fast forward a few years. After getting a coach and the education and support I needed…

I finally broke through mindset blocks, felt SO IN CONTROL of nutrition and was able to get in the best shape of my life a couple years after having my first baby. Those habits and that time helped me so much.

Do I sometimes have moments and phases in life where I am not 100% with these habits and mindset? Of course. Life happens. But I am so much better off and have the skills and motivation to do it again and again.

I NO LONGER…🛑

🙅‍♀️Feel guilty about eating treats and pizza
🙅‍♀️Snack aimlessly at night
🙅‍♀️Cut out foods and have FOMO
🙅‍♀️Feel out of control around sweets
🙅‍♀️Stress about not getting to my goals

My 1:1 client and mom of 2 worked with me for 12 weeks and leaned out, lost 6 pounds of fat, her clothes fit much better, and she FEELS so much better.

Here’s what happened:

Cami came to me saying she felt like a stranger in her own body. She did not feel good and wanted to feel amazing in her skin for the sake of herself and her kids.

However, she knew how to eat healthy and she knew how to workout, but what she wanted wasn’t happening. She wanted those next level results ⚡️

When she came to me we looked at her current situation and made a plan.

She would get nervous on vacations if she didn’t get workouts in or fell off her eating plan. She knew what to do, but still wasn’t seeing the results she wanted.

So we worked on:

👉consistent healthy habits

👉eating enough food

👉changing her mindset around nutrition and fitness

It’s so easy to get caught up in the game of extremes and doing all the things.

We didn’t slash calories.

She didn’t workout hardcore every day. In fact, she got results even working out 2 maybe 3 times a week.

So you’re wanting to build muscle and shape (tone up) and lose fat at the same time.

And you’re a busy mom.

Wanting that flat stomach but strong legs and back? But got babies to take care of? I gotchu mama.

This is called body recomposition.

You are recomposing your body to add more shape and tone. Adding muscle and losing fat. This is how you get “toned”.

And here’s how you do it…

👉 You need to lift weights/strength train and have a progressive overload plan
👉 You need to build muscle. That means eating more and lifting heavy
👉 You need to eat more protein
👉 You need to strategically lose fat without losing muscle
👉 You need to have a strategic nutrition plan and workout plan

And HERE’S how you do it if you’re a busy mom 👉

💫 Have an effective strength plan for at home or the gym where you’re done within 30-45 minutes

💫 Have easy high-protein meals and a plan so you can grab and go and know exactly what to eat and when during the busy days

💫 Track your food so you know what you need to do and also have room to be flexible because mom life. Sometimes we need to pick up a pizza for dinner. But if you track, you’ll know where to fill in gaps and still see progress.

💫 Have a coach or accountability, support, and knowledge. Someone who won’t let you fail, can provide a roadmap and make sure you’re seeing progress and help you stay committed to your goals.

Preferably someone who understands the goal of wanting to be fit and toned while raising kids. 😉

I love your goal of wanting to be strong, lose fat in a sustainable way, and never look back. I’m definitely your girl if that’s your goal.

5 months postpartum update 🎉

We’re still figuring out realistic routines in our life 😁 partly because of summer though.

I did not “bounce back”.

Yes, I still have about 40 pounds to lose to get back to where I was.

There’s my update 😄

I want to make the pressure of bouncing back not a thing anymore.

Over in my corner we are not about trying to lose the weight as fast as possible because all that does is wreak havoc on your mind and body.

I know all too well these effects of losing weight too fast without building muscle.

What I AM focusing on 👉

Working on core strength and can now do 3-4 core workouts a week.

Drinking water, getting in nutrient-dense foods.

Getting in walking outside around when I can.

I am not “bouncing back” but slowly building strength.

Because I know if I rush into a fat loss or weight loss goal, things will get messed up and I’ll have to start over in the future.

Building muscle and strength NOW will help you to build shape, get toned, and eat a lot of food without gaining fat.

Will this take time? Of course.

But that’s what makes it worth it.

SAVE THIS NOW 📌 if you’re aiming to be a muscle mommy 💪

Yes, it’s possible mama to build shape, strength and muscle at home while still prioritizing your kiddos and family 💪

Here’s how you do it 👉

🔥 Contrary to popular belief, you DON’T need to spend hours at the gym lifting heavy weights. What matters most is the QUALITY and consistency of lifts.

Aim for 2-3 days a week hitting each body part.

🔥You don’t need much equipment, but you’ll need to focus on your form and the function of each workout to make the most of it.

Time under tension, unilateral movements, volume, & progressive overload are a few examples of efficient techniques.

🔥 You also don’t need to eat like a bodybuilder, but you should be increasing protein and make sure you’re getting ENOUGH to support your muscle growth.

A range of 0.6-0.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight is a good range to start with that doesn’t require you to stuff yourself silly with protein (which is unnecessary).

🔥 Prioritizing healthy food and balanced meals is the best thing for your body goals and life as an active mom. Combine protein and fiber and have those things on hand with each meal for an easy template to follow when you have no time or no idea what to eat.

🔥 Eating enough IS essential to seeing muscle growth and strength, so you’ll need to make sure you’re eating at least a little above maintenance calories. You don’t need to eat a ton more, just more than usual. That’s an extra snack or an extra serving of protein at dinner.

Tracking will help here, and there are ways to track flexibly in your busy mom life 💪

🔥 Make time to fit in rest days, get enough sleep and take time to stretch and work on mobility. This not only is essential for muscle growth, but also VERY helpful for reducing the stresses of daily mom life 👊

This is how I help my clients finally see permanent fat loss and body confidence which in turn makes them a happier mom for their kids 😀

How to STAY fit for good 👉

Your journey is not done after you lose the weight.

If you think one 30 day challenge or even 8 weeks of focusing on a weight loss goal is all you need…

Think again.

You’ll need to keep the SAME habits strong in order to keep the body you worked for.

And most likely you will hit a plateau, especially if you’re not adding in reverse dieting and building.

Our bodies are smart and will adapt to low calories and your current fitness routine.

So if you’re working out hard right now…you’ll need to continue working out even HARDER for the rest of your life.

But if you implement fueling your body with more energy, focusing on building muscle which fuels metabolism, it will be much easier to KEEP and sustain a toned and energetic body.

And that’s what I call efficiency 💪

I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, mama of one spunky toddler, lover of cooking, reading books, and lifting weights!

This journey of helping others with their health started back in college. After researching and learning about nutrition and exercise in my teenage years I wanted to study it in college because I was fascinated by how it affected me every day.

Experimenting with diets and exercise helped me to take control and feel more confident about certain health problems. I was so fascinated by the fact that taking care of your body and eating healthy food could make you more productive, happier, energized, and ready to take on the world.

I started getting into strength training in college and fell in love with it. Teaching others, especially other women, that lifting weights is so beneficial in so many ways made me excited about what I could do to help!
