It is not my place or the purpose of this page to comment on matters not related to F1, but the despicable acts in Paris this evening cannot pass without comment. First, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and people of Paris. Second, my opinion of the cowards who caused the carnage are best left unwritten.

Is the Monaco Grand Prix on your Bucket List? We're here to help you cross it off.
After a brief hiatus, we're back...back at the end of another great F1 season, but with the same Champion. Congratulations to Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes.
Devastated to hear the news of the passing of Jules Bianchi. My thoughts go out to his friends and family. Truly sad.
Surprised Max Verstappen has been dealt all the blame. Real-time footage of the incident from Max's camera shows Roman Grosjean breaking was out of sync.
I did say the first corner would be carnage...and St Devote ended up costing Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton dearly at the .
Interesting to see in the mix...and so off form. First corner could be carnage!
Europe is a very competitive place this weekend...there's the and , and of course . But no matter how cutthroat the Giro and Eurovision get, the rivalry between and is the one to watch.
Keep Jules and Michael in your thoughts this weekend.
It's finally here! The event we've all been waiting for. If there is a single race on the entire calendar guaranteed to produce some interesting results, then this is it.
If last week's and last year's are any indication, looks like it will give a run for its money next weekend. Good Luck to all the .
Yay! We've hit 100 likes. Big thanks to Hasegawa Seiichi for the Thumbs Up.
A big 'thank you' to the 99 who have Liked this page...just one more 'Like' and we've hit the bigtime! Maybe in this week of the we might just make that memorable milestone.
Recently watched the 1966 movie Grand Prix for the first time in about 20 years...reminds me of just how much the has changed...and how much it has stayed the same...and the reason why it is the jewel in the F1 crown.
Congratulations to on winning the Monaco Formula E this weekend.
The 1996 , held two weeks after Monaco, proved Michael Schumacher as the ultimate RainMaster. It was his first win for , and what a win! In torrential rain, he managed to win by a whopping 45 seconds ahead of Jean Alesi.
Commiserations to Manny Pacquiao. You're a Champ.
The 1996 Monaco GP was an absolute 'mudbath'! Olivier Panis recorded his first and only GP win - Ligier recorded their first win in 15 seasons...and their last - the fewest number of cars (3) ever crossed the finish line - I chose to watch the race from Secteur Rocher, ending up covered in mud from head to toe, and having an absolute blast. Fortunately, by the time I made my way across the circuit to Rosie's Bar the rain had washed me clean. Just goes to show, even under the most adverse of conditions, it's impossible not to enjoy the .
The 1994 Monaco GP was the first race after the tragic San Marino GP. The front row of the grid was left vacant with both the Brazilian and Austrian flags emblazoned on them...not a single person passed by without reflecting on our collective loss.
On this anniversary of the tragic 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, our thoughts also turn to Roland Ratzenberger.
Hard to believe it has been 21 years since we lost Ayrton...I guess it doesn't feel like such a long time because he's always in our hearts and memories.
Nice to see Jenson so positive about the McLaren's chances in Monaco. Best of luck. Not long now.
I thought Channel Ten Australia forgot all about . Good to see they will be showing the at 00:30 on Monday morning! Pity they can't find a slot for the Quali.
Interesting vibe between and . Will make a great movie one day. Maybe Ron Howard will make it...he did a great job with .
I managed to watch a very grainy online while I'm in Australia due to there being no free-to-air coverage from the supposed Home Of Motorsport - yes, you Channel Ten. Will I really bother to watch their half-baked hour of 'highlights' tonight? I don't think so. Will I pay Foxtel a small fortune every month for programs I have no interest in just so I can pay extra for a sports channel that only shows one sport I'm interested in viewing? No, I will not. Will my fellow F1 fans in Australia succumb to this extortion? I hope not. At least I only have to miss out for a small portion of the season...my Australian friends miss out on the entire season.
Great result from a track that didn't really suit the Williams. Looking forward to seeing you on the top step...perhaps in Monaco?

Congratulations to on another great win...this time at the . Keep fighting - consistency is key.
Sorry Daniel Ricciardo that so many of your home fans won't be able to watch you race in because the coverage is only available to those prepared to pay for Foxtel. Perhaps if they could just purchase what they wanted to watch instead of being forced to pay for what they don't want it would be fairer.
Wow! Only 0.042 between and ! Any idea what that is in terms of distance at the speed they we're travelling over the finish line? I bet it is a lot less than the distance between the P1 and P2 start lies. Amazing.
Congratulations to and on another great Quali.
I've been watching the Formula E with some interest and have been impressed with the standard of racing. Looking forward to seeing it in Monaco...hopefully, the natural amphitheater that is Monaco will boost the engine noise...although I think the spectators will still drown out the sound of the cars.
