Thursday mornings in the Meadow Room are all about slowing down. Move through a breath-led flow ~ a blend of vinyasa, yin and restorative yoga, to help you find a lil pocket of calm in your week 😌

We practice in the most beautiful space, overlooking the orchard 🌾 and honestly, Meadow Somerset is such a dreamy spot!

Think farm cafe, the most delicious coffee, artisan gelato and a woodland sauna surrounded by nature. It’s very much a treat-yourself kind of space - what a way to spend a Thursday morning! Plus, you can grab a free coffee with your first class!! ☕️

Bring your own mat – or borrow one from Meadow Somerset 🫶 I’ll bring everything else for a comfy & cosy class.

The pod is warm and it's a calming floor based practice class - we use lots of props (bolsters + bricks), we move veryyy slow with optional poses and we spend time really feeling into the different shapes - allowing the body to fully relax.

I’m verryy excited to be collaborating with ~ and to be starting a brand new Slow Flow Yoga class✨

Thursday mornings (9–10am) will be all about slowing down ~ a gentle mix of vinyasa, yin and restorative shapes, to help you find a lil pocket of calm in your week 🌀

A little yoga update before the end of the year!🌷

🌟 Help Keep COACH Alive! 🌟

The COACH building has been a vital community hub since local residents took over in 2024. It’s home to:
✅ A boathouse for the local rowing & canoe club
✅ A community store for parkrun & Longrun volunteer's equipment
✅ A café and public toilets
✅ Two activity rooms for things like yoga & fitness and associated changing rooms

Originally designed as a river activity centre, the quality of the water in the River Tone meant that vision ended abruptly. COACH has evolved into a well-used space that is prominent in women’s fitness and wellbeing—despite challenges like limited parking and lighting on dark winter nights (COACH is in the middle of French Weir Park).

But now, COACH needs urgent repairs and upgrades to stay open. Without action, the risk of the building going dark is very real.

🔧 Critical Repairs (£60K)
• Decking Replacement – Timber substructure is rotting. Toilets closed. (£25K)
• Roof Repairs – Leaks due to cheap single-skin roof. (£15K)
• Plumbing Switch to Electric – Remove inefficient gas system. (£10K)
• Wall Insulation & Cladding – Stop driving rain damage. (£10K)

🌱 Planned Upgrades (£35K)
• Heating & lighting in link room and riverside (£10K)
• Public toilet utilities separation (£5K)
• HVAC improvements for café & building core (£20K)

NEW CLASS AT COACH 💌

I’m so excited to be offering a weekly Yin Yoga class in Taunton - created to help you slow down, soften, and stretch out the week.

🌷 Sunday Slow Down: Yin Yoga
📍 COACH, French Weir Park, TA1 1AW
🕓 Sundays | 4pm–5.15pm (an extra long session to help you fully relax)
💸 £12.50 per class x
✨ I try my best to make the class accessible, nurturing, and welcoming!!
🫶 Most props provided ~ just bring a mat!

Yin yoga is a slow-paced, floor-based practice with lots of support and space to just be. No pressure, no need to be flexible or calm -just come as you are ☺️
