There’s just over a week before our return to running course starts so we thought we’d tell you a bit more about it the answers to some of your FAQS 👇
1. Is it different to Couch25K?
Yes, the course is led by our qualified run leader Caroline, and is designed for people who have completed Couch25K or have previous running experience but haven’t been out for a while. We want to help you regain your confidence and give you the motivation you need to regularly go out for a run again. BTW our next C25K course starts in the new year.
2. What will the course involve?
The sessions are designed around the needs of the group, that means you’ll start off by running relatively short distances, at a comfortable pace and which will include walk breaks. The course will be based around Four Crosses which means the routes will be pretty flat too. At the end of the 8 weeks we’ll be taking in a celebratory Parkrun.
3. How much does it cost?
Your first two sessions are free, and if you decide you want to complete the course you’ll be asked to pay £10 to cover things like insurance and administration costs. It also means that if you’d like to continue running with us then you’ll be a fully signed up member until 31st March next year.
4. How do I sign up?
All we ask you to do is fill out our online registration and medical forms before the start of the course so that we have your emergency contact details. Theses are stored securely and will be deleted if you decide you don’t want to continue with the course.
The course starts on Monday 7th September at 18:30.
