We are 10 days into our Weight Loss Challenge, HAPT Fam! And while the hydration and weight loss portions of the challenge are pretty straightforward, the JERF'ing (Just Eat Real Food) portion is a little more complicated to stick to everyday!
We have been getting questions regarding what qualifies as "real food." When in doubt, stick to foods that are unquestionably real and whole, such as fresh fruit & vegetables, meats, nuts, & seeds. Here are 3 helpful questions to ask yourself:
1. Did this come from the ground?
2. Did this have a mother?
3. Would my grandparents know what this is?
While the general rule of thumb would be to answer "yes" to all of these questions, there can be some exceptions. Head to the link below for a helpful blog post on JERF'ing, including what it means and 10 steps to help you stick to it!

Challenging your balance & stability during a workout (like squatting on a BOSU ball) not only produces a higher caloric output, but it can also help strengthen your body to maximize your output during more traditional weightlifting exercises.
