#6 Nathan Tessmann aka MC Wheels has announced his Retirement from Powerchair Football in the Queensland Powerchair Football Assoc Inc. Nathan started playing in 2017 and since then has continued to improve his skills and has become a fantastic competitor and team mate to the whole of QPFA and this team. you will be incredibly missed and this team wishes you all the best in your life away from powerchair football. Thanks so much for bringing your life to our team and we loved every minute of it. Thanks Nathan.

Yesterday Excelsior played in the Semi-Final against Lions Powerchair Football Club we unfortunately lost 3 - 2 in extra time. Jack Gillespie and Nathan Tessmann scored our goals. Lions played in the Grand Final and lost 5 - 0 to Strikers Powerchair Football Club. Congratulations to Stikers for Winning the Premiership League Competition.

This Saturday is the big dance for the QPFA Push Mobility Premiership League competition as we take on Lions Powerchair Football Club at PCYC Lang Park for a spot in the Grand Final against the Strikers Powerchair Football Club to be played at 2pm.

Excelsior gave it our all and drive away 6th Place at the APFA Club Championships 2024. We have played some incredible teams and have learnt so much, Our team has really enjoyed this tournament and will be back better than ever next Championships.

DAY 5 SCHEDULE

The playoffs have arrived at Nissan Arena and with it brings 7 matches of exciting football on Day 5.

At 10am the two teams who won their groups will face off, with only one of Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers able to remain undefeated. The winner advances to the Grand Final, whilst the loser plays again at 5pm against the winner of the next match between Sydney FC and Melbourne City.

The midday game will be the second All-Queensland affair as Moreton City Excelsior and Strikers FC faceoff for a place in the 5th place playoff on day 6. The loser will face the winner of Hills United and Adelaide Comets at 4pm.

The afternoon session begins with Lions FC taking on Football St George, with the loser playing Wanderers Wasps to open the action on Day 6. Day 5 concludes with Placement Game A at 4pm and the Semi Final at 5pm.
