We are pretty excited about what we are bringing to Wake County Speedway tomorrow night. Can’t thank Brett Morgan enough for the time and attention he dedicates to our little team. Countless people we call and lean on day after day for advise and direction. The racing community is truly a family that is unlike any other. Prayers for safety and guidance for all.

Loading up the car this evening for a test tomorrow. Praying the new motor/ transmission package holds strong and we’re done with these catastrophic failures for a while.

If all goes well we will see what ole red has got this Friday at Wake County Speedway.

Thank you to everyone who has turned a wrench on the car and given insight day in and day out. Wrenching on this car has been one of the most humbling experiences to date for Flood Racing but we’re ready to give it our best effort.

After a ton of challenges from switching from built to crate, we finally have it and the new trans in and ready to rip. Underestimated the amount of changes that were required to make the switch. Hope to test soon and see what we have for later this month Depending on the results we will try and run Wake, Orange and possibly Ace within the next 45 days. We really need some good luck and some clean time on the track.

After a tough week thrashing late into each night, we were getting close to wrapping up and loading it up to head to the track. During the last step throwing the transmission in, we noticed a crack in one of the ears. Wiggled, then found a bigger crack, ultimately ending our efforts for tonight’s race. We will keep working and getting the car dialed in even better for the next one. Maybe we will hit up a new track in between now and the next race at WCS.

I want to thank everyone in our corner supporting us in so many ways.

We got a new to us noise maker for the car until we get the primary engine back from the main bearing failure. It will be at a small disadvantage on power, but we will make it up on driver. We pray for no further hiccups as we settle into the season. It’s been a little rough, but tempering builds strong steel.

Really tough but successful day yesterday. Found multiple problems that led to more during open practice earlier in the day. Managed to button everything up and make a few adjustments to find some speed.

Qualified p10 of 14 despite there being just over 2 tenths of a second between the pole and 10th. Awesome tight group of cars.

For the race we fired off well and within 11 laps, something in the motor let go. Hoping it’s not detrimental and hoping we can get it back together before the next one at WCS in about a month. Needless to say we will not be making the trip to Carteret Co. today.

Thanks for everyone’s support at the track. It means a lot and your support does not go unnoticed!

It’s race day for LFR! Come out to Wake County Speedway this evening to check out our debut in the Charger division.

We look forward to a full day of building a notebook, keeping it in one piece, and good lord willing, heading to Carteret co. Speedway for Saturday’s feature.

Green flag drops at 8:30pm, but be there early to catch some good seats!
