Sixty-year-old Zirkia Gregorowski's perseverance as a sportswoman paid off when she was crowned the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation’s (IBFF) Overall Winner for Fitness Physique and Figure, as well as Miss Universe Champion for 2023.

She achieved these accomplishments late in May at the recent International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation competition (IBFF Mister and Miss Universe) in Taranto, Italy. She also competed in Italy in 2018 and achieved 4th place in the Miss 40+ Fitness category.

Lifestyle choices are contributing factors to poor health in many cases. The physical body is a gift from God and should be properly cared for and respected. Mental health is also important and should not be overlooked, as it can affect us both physically and spiritually.

Good health requires time and commitment! The body achieves what the mind believes. Do something today your future self will thank you for. Eating nutritious meals, regular exercise, and appropriate sleep are necessary for a strong body, just as consistent scripture study and prayer strengthen the mind and spirit. It’s up to you to start making healthy choices that are just healthy for your body, but healthy for your mind. We must do all we can to take care of both our bodies and our minds.
