Yesterday, Tennis SA submitted a return to play proposal to the Department of Sports, Arts & Culture and the office of the honourable Minister Nathi Mthethwa.

Like golf, tennis is an individual and social distancing compliant sport. Indeed, a recent academic study in Italy, in collaboration with the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), determined that, with the right safety protocols in place, individual sports, like tennis and golf, have almost no risk of spreading COVID-19.
