Witwatersrand Lace Guild

The Witwatersrand Lace Guild promotes various kinds of lace making by hand e.g. bobbin lace, needle lace and tatting.

The Witwatersrand Lace Guild was established in 1980 to promote all types of handmade lace especially bobbin lace. Meetings are held monthly on the second Saturday of the month at the Roosevelt Park Recreation Centre from 11h00. A list of teachers of lace making is available from the Guild, and membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the art of lace making, for a nominal annual fee.
