These are heavy days. Too many women in our country are being taken from us, and our hearts are broken for their families. We grieve them, we say their names, and we refuse to let them become numbers.
But in the middle of this pain, we see something that gives me strength: the young women of our academy. They lace up their gloves, show up before sunrise, and train through fear, tiredness, and doubt. They are learning to stand tall, to hold their ground, and to believe that their lives, their bodies, and their voices matter. When we watch them, we are reminded that courage is not the absence of fear. It is choosing to rise anyway.
To every woman and girl reading this: you are not alone, and you are not small. Your strength is real. Stand together, look out for one another, speak up, and reach for help when you need it. Our sisters are our shield.
This season will not break us. It will make us louder, braver, and more united. We fight for the ones we have lost, and we fight for the ones who come after us.
Re ya lwana. Siyalwa. We rise❤️🥊
