To the world Muaythai family!!! Happy Muaythai Day!

What a powerful memory to resurface today. Five years ago, I earned my Muaythai licence and was officially recognised as a Muaythai Kru, a moment that still fills me with pride every time I think about it.

I spent years training, learning, and growing under Ajarn Quentin Chong . To be guided by him, and eventually to stand before him and be recognised as a Kru, remains one of the greatest honours of my journey. It wasn’t just a certification it was the culmination of discipline, resilience, many days, weeks, months and years of hard work as well as a deep love for the art of Muaythai.

Along the way I picked up some of the most valuable lessons anyone can take from this art: control, breath, relax, move… and yes, burpees. Plenty of burpees.

Grateful for the path, the lessons, and the people who helped shape who I am today. Here’s to the journey and to never stopping the pursuit of growth. 🥊
