Shema Christian Counselling

There is no way around emotions, just through, because “pain demands to be felt,” as John Green states. Getting better at feeling is something that does not come naturally to most of us. Counselling provides a space to learn and grow in this. Remember, we weren’t created to do this walk alone.

Oh faithful You’ve been, faithful You are! 🕊️🙏🏼

The Lord is the One who makes these testimonies possible. He is the source of every transformed life and every moment of healing. He is the One who continues to shape and refine me into the counsellor I am today. He is our “Wonderful Counsellor,” as Isaiah 9:6 declares, and what better place to learn how to counsel others?

There’s a peace that comes with serving a God that makes everything beautiful in its time. Nothing to prove, nothing to force, nothing to fear. Let’s breathe, and rest in God, not in time frames, not in outcomes, not in what life ‘should’ look like. It’s all in His caring hands, and there is no better place for a surrendered life to be.🦋

Knowledge is power. 💭🏆

All that matters is knowing Him. My prayer for all of us in 2026 is 2 Peter 3:18: “Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” All else will flow from that. 🌱
