WP KILLARNEY YOUTH DAY.
Well done to the team putting in a great performance on the day. Carl taking 3rd place behind Morgan Jones (Kinetic) and Carlo Engelbrecht (RH77) in Cat 1. While Nick James had a good ride in 4th place after illness with Alex Goetham in 5th.

In the Junior race Zain Solomons set his teammate up perfectly by going in a solo breakaway with a lap to go. Caught just before the line, Camaron managed to win the Sprint and take the win. 🏆

WP Road Overall League Trophys also handed out today.

Camaron also winning the trophy 🏆 for the best All Rounder in the Junior Category.

Congratulations to our 17 year old Juniors, Camaron Wilcox winning the WP Road League Overall and Zain Solomons finishing in second place in the Under 19 category. Great to see the fight in them, a Never Give Up attitude, racing in Cat1against the top Elite riders in the Western Cape.

A Strong field out at Killarney on Sunday with some of the fast Joburg boys still here after SA Track Champs. We'll done to Camaron Wilcox taking 3rd in the Under 19 Cat before his 17th birthday this week. Congrats Carlo Engelbrecht on and impressive win. 👏🏻

𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 - 2026.
Day 5 brought the heat with Keirin action 🔥 and Shameeg Salie stepping up against some of the best sprinters in the country. It was always going to be a tough race, and it didn’t disappoint. The pace was fast, the competition fierce, and every position was hard-earned.

Shameeg rode a smart and determined race, staying in the mix as the intensity built lap after lap. When it mattered most, he gave it everything in the final sprint—going head-to-head with top talent and refusing to back down.

After an all-out effort, he crossed the line in an impressive 3rd place, with Olympian Sprinter Jean Spies winning it and Michael Jervis 2nd. A fantastic result against such strong competition and a performance to be proud of 💪
