OMSAC -> MSAC!
π WHAT'S CHANGED / NOT CHANGED?
π
Our friendly and inclusive diving group ethos remains β email us on [email protected] to find out how you can join a Club dive to check us out!
At the same time: from 31 December 2022, our name will change to MSAC (with a possible further change in the future) and our club base will be at 32 Belper Rd, Wynberg.
Thanks to friendly FBUC for hosting us while we navigate a new season! π

Interclub Potjiekos Competition β RSVP required!
It's Bellville Underwater Diving Club's turn to host the Annual Inter-club Potjiekos Competition! This is the first competition to be held since 2019, so be sure to come and join in the fun (and enjoy the delicious food, of course!)
RSVP is essential: by 21 October 2022, please - so that we can make sure you get a substantial share of the potjie. OMSAC pays for the food, all you need to do is buy your drinks (from the Bellville Club, to support them).
The chefs will be hard at work from 11am, but the rest of you can arrive from 1pm for social time.

It was a fabulous diving weekend, and a few people also snuck in some decent diving during the week, either due to their day jobs involving diving, or just catching a break from work!
Shy sharks around at the moment, as do whelk eggs, cuttle fish eggs, and lots of baby Roman.

JUST A COUPLE OF DIVE DAYS THIS WEEK π¦
One OMSAC'er managed to grab a friend and enjoy a mid-week dive excursion clocking in at 82 minutes.
For the weekend water babies, conditions weren't too encouraging and with boat dives cancelled, just one intrepid group hit the water on Saturday.

A COUPLE OF PEACHY DAYS... AND THEN A WEEKEND π
Isn't that how it so often goes β while most of us are tied to our day-jobs, False Bay looks peachy π ...
and then as the weekend arrives, so does the dive-unfriendly weather.
Lucky you if you had time (and fuel!) to see June out and have a dive last Wednesday or Thursday!
