There’s a difference between being capable…
and constantly carrying.
21/05/2026
Many high-functioning women don’t actually rest.
They temporarily stop moving…
while mentally carrying everything.
18/05/2026
Some women are so used to carrying everything that they no longer recognize when they’re overwhelmed.
They just call it: “being responsible.”

Entrepreneurs…
Does your mind ever really switch off from your business?
Or does it just… keep going?
Thinking about:
• decisions
• responsibilities
• things you still need to handle
Most people don’t see this part.
But you do.
I’ll be speaking about this at BSS Networking.
It’s not something most founders talk about…
But many recognize it instantly.

You’ve become very good at managing yourself.
That’s why no one notices.
You adjust.
You hold back.
You keep things steady.
Even when you’re tired.
Even when something feels off.
It’s not dramatic.
Nothing is falling apart.
You’re just…
not quite yourself anymore.
And the strangest part?
You’ve learned how to function like this.
So you keep going.
I’ll be speaking at a Mother’s Day Wellness Experience at VinBoHo Boutique Hotel.
And I’ll be speaking about something most women only realise when they’re already exhausted.
If something in you paused while reading this…
pay attention to that.

If slowing down makes you uncomfortable,
it doesn’t mean rest is wrong.
It means you were taught that doing equals deserving.
Many women don’t fear rest -
They fear what will happen if they stop proving their value.
But doing less doesn’t mean collapsing.
It means reclaiming choice.
Self-respect isn’t always loud.
Sometimes it’s the quiet decision to stop pushing -
even when no one is watching.
You don’t lose your worth when you rest.
You return to it.

Rest shouldn’t feel like something you have to justify.
And yet, for so many capable women, it does.
That tight feeling when you slow down?
That urge to “at least do something”?
That’s not laziness — it’s conditioning.
You learned to link your worth to output.
To contribution.
To being useful.
But worth doesn’t disappear when productivity pauses.
And rest isn’t a risk — it’s a boundary.
You don’t need to earn your right to stop.
You are allowed to be — even when nothing is produced.

Strong women don’t stop doubting.
They just learn to doubt themselves quietly.
Comparison often shows up when we’ve been holding too much for too long -
Not because we’re insecure, but because we’re depleted.
Measuring yourself drains energy.
It pulls you out of your own rhythm and into someone else’s timeline.
And February?
It’s heavy for many - emotionally, mentally, hormonally, energetically.
So if comparison is louder right now, let that be information -
Not a verdict.
This might not be a moment for motivation.
It might be a moment for rest, reassurance, and returning inward.
