Do not leave it for the last minute folks, the greatest doubles tournament is only a week away, speak to Franklin and Galiek to get yourself and your partner registered, you have until the 14th of August to get listed. Loads of prices to be won in the Ultimate Pairs cup happening at the Ultimate Centre on the 16th August.

Cape Town people, the Ultimate Pool Centre is back in business as of tomorrow. If you feel like some action come through at 7pm we will be hosting a R50 comp, Franklin de Bruin and Galiek can be contacted for more information and comp registrations.

Kevin’s name is synonymous with money, always in it to win it. Seeing Mr Martin take part in any competition makes for a successful tournament, this gentleman is so consistent in his stroke he almost always makes it to the business end of any tournament and his evergreen class and form once again carried him to familiar waters.

The weather was unkind to say the least but Cape Town people seldom need second invitation to a pool tournament and as expected they defied Mother Nature and weathered the storm to play in their favourite sport at their favourite Ultimate Pool Centre (A big shoutout to the venue management who guaranteed the prize monies even though the numbers were a bit shy of the expected 32). Cold front or no cold front Pool is cool. The presence of Kevin Martin on the list of participants meant that most would be worried about when they would clash with him and after combing his way to the final he had to battle Thurston Bosman (Boetie Boots) and you know the story, Boots always has his index finger on the trigger of his machine gun ready to blast but today he needed more than one gun to blast Kev. Out of respect I refuse to write the final score but please help me congratulate Mr Martin, well done Prof, too much sauce in the burger Braaaaavo!!!
