First explored with watercolors and brushes, then refined on screen until the concept becomes real.

Inspired by the landscapes and colors of the Cape Epic, the design becomes an abstract interpretation of nature. Skins, scales and earthy textures subtly reference Africa, while the snake emerges as a powerful and elegant symbol, reimagined through abstraction.

The color palette evokes the sunsets and distinctive light of South Africa, adding character to the design while ensuring optimal race-day visibility.

Two champions. One epic challenge. Team 69 ready for the .

, rider of the and former XCM World Champion, will take on the legendary Cape Epic alongside , rider and XCO World Champ.

For this unique partnership, we created the Team 69 special-edition kit together with both riders. The vision was clear: clean, minimalist, and purpose-driven.

At first glance, the jersey looks like a pristine white canvas. Look closer, and its African identity emerges, a subtle zebra-inspired pattern integrated into the fabric as a camouflaged texture. A quiet tribute to the landscapes where the race unfolds.

Another year more, we join Ibon in South Africa with this special-edition kit, with which he will ride the trails of the world’s biggest MTB race.

The season comes to a close.

It’s been another year with the Orbea Factory Team, one filled with challenges through mud, rain, wind, and everything in between.

This year, our iconic mint color hasn’t been as prominent on the race circuits. With all the riders crowned national champions in their respective countries, a vibrant mix of colors has represented the team throughout the season. Colors that carry a great responsibility, representing millions of people around the world.

Beyond the races, our partnership with the team remains essential in developing the next generation of our garments. The riders’ feedback continues to be invaluable. We keep improving and learning race by race.

Taking our apparel to the extreme in a terrain as demanding as it is spectacular, Iceland.

Our friends at .cllctv had the opportunity to enjoy one of the most spectacular races in the world, , followed by days of bikepacking discovering incredible landscapes. It was a unique opportunity to test both products and prototypes and face changing and adverse weather conditions, reaching extreme cold.

Every piece of gear was pushed to its absolute limit in Iceland’s wild landscapes. We believe in creating products that are tested and ready for anything you can throw at them. In this demanding environment, we confirmed that our technical garments are designed for cycling in the most adverse weather conditions and they perform flawlessly.
