The Countdown Begins!

The LaMuse Classic returns to Surfers Corner, Muizenberg from 8–10 August 2026, bringing together some of the country's most talented female surfers for a weekend of competition, community and celebration over Women's Day weekend.

We're excited to announce a new addition for 2026: the Junior Shortboard Division, creating even more opportunities for the next generation of female surfers to take to the water.

Entries open on 1 July 2026.

One incredible partnership from the very beginning…

For the past eight LaMuse Classics, has stood alongside us as our main sponsor, helping shape something that has become meaningful to so many. Their support has never been just about presence, but about belief in what the LaMuse Classic represents at its core.

As this chapter comes to a natural close, we want to take a moment to say a sincere thank you. For the trust, the consistency, and for the commitment behind the scenes that allowed the event to grow into what it is today.

Nine years strong, and still growing in ways we never dreamed possible. 💙

This year, LaMuse Classic reminded us that no matter what nature throws our way - wild rain, gusting wind, sunshine breaks, even rainbows over the surf - it’s the community that makes the magic.

From first light to the final heat, the stoke never faltered. Every cheer from the beach, every shared wave in the line-up, and every hug at the finish reminded us why LaMuse is so much more than an event, it’s a celebration of resilience, connection, and women lifting women.
